The year 2014 started strong for the new VICIOUS RUMORS line-up with two crushing, completely different sets in January at the prestigious 70.000 Tons of Metal festival cruise sailing from Miami to Mexico via Bahamas. In June of 2014, the bay area Heavy Metal institution is back on the road in Europe with a new live release under their wings.

The new live album "Live You To Death 2 - American Punishment" will be released on SPV/Steamhammer on June 11th in Scandinavia, June 13th in Germany, June 16th in Europe and June 24th in USA/Canada. The CD features 13 live tracks recorded on the American Punishment Tour in fall of 2013 in Chicago, New York, Atlanta and Oakland and was produced by Geoff Thorpe and mixed and mastered by Juan Urteaga ( Machine Head, Testament, Heathen...) at Trident studios in Pacheco, California. The album features VICIOUS RUMORS performing classic songs never recorded live before, per example "Towns on Fire", "Mastermind" and "Worlds and Machines" along with new songs like "I Am The Gun" and "Electric Punishment". The band is tight, full of fire and energy that Vicious Rumors concerts are known for! The live LP also makes 3 live albums on 3 different continents and 4 albums in 4 years for Vicious Rumors, while non stop touring. The ball just keeps getting stronger!

In support of the new live album VICIOUS RUMORS is back on tour from June 4th to June 28th in Europe. The ''Live You To Death Tour: 35 Years Of Metal 1979 - 2014" features festivals in Croatia, Belgium, Holland, Slovenia, Italy and the Czech Republic sharing stages with bands like Annihilator, Metal Church, Sepultura, Trivium, Tankard, Tygers of Pan Tang and many more, while other tour highlights will be concerts with amazing bands like NILE in the United Kingdom and ICED EARTH in Germany, as well as headline shows all over Europe. This 20 date festival and headline tour marks 35 years of non-stop heavy metal from this legendary San Francisco bay area band.

VICIOUS RUMORS is already working hard on a new studio album for a tentative 2015 release. The band will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the cult debut LP "Soldiers of the Night" with a massive world tour in 2015! Don't miss this milestone of metal history!

Finalement il sonne pas si mal que ça ce Nick Holleman... mais pas au niveau espéré/attendu non plus pour du VR. Dans l'ensemble le groupe envoie bien néanmoins.
