Le nouvel album sort le 21 novembre :

Irish Pagan Metal Gods PRIMORDIAL have finished the songwriting for their new album "Where Greater Men Have Fallen" to be released later in the year on the 21st of November, 2014!

Comments PRIMORDIAL: "Time moves slowly…but it does move and the rusty gears have been grinding lately a new Primordial album will come this year, November to be more precise…the working title right now is 'Where greater men have fallen' and in just as we did for the last album we have a weekend of release shows in Germany right as it hits…we will be supported by Sweden's Portrait and Switzerland's Bolzer on the three nights all for a very healthy ticket price and there will be special releases, merch and music just for these shows. Hold your fire…"

All three shows include signing sessions with PRIMORDIAL. The new album will be available for purchase in all configurations at the shows and there will be exclusive merchandise available as well.

Cult Irish metal band Primordial has premiered a rendition of the 1966 track "Dark Horse on the Wind." Check it out below, courtesy of Noisey.Vice.com, and the following press release was also issued about the track:

"'Dark Horse on the Wind' was originally written by late Irish musician Liam Weldon in 1966, and laments the lost dreams of the Irish Volunteers of the controversial 1916 Easter Rising.

"Upon its original release, the song was a searing indictment of society in post-independence Ireland, and a warning of the political troubles yet to come. The original Weldon version is a staple of the long-running band's live performance, as Primordial uses it as their introduction to every performance.

"Primordial's rendition of the track is taken from the forthcoming compilation ‘One And All, Together, For Home.’ ‘One And All, Together, For Home’ was assembled by Drudkh main-man Roman Sayenko, and brings together a group of renowned European metal bands to pay homage their distinct, unique heritages. Each band employs their own means to find and present their respective cultural roots to the world via song.

"The eight appearing artists contribute a total of 17 tracks in the form of traditional song interpretations, cover versions of folk artists, or the use of themes and melodies from their musical heritages in original compositions. The tracks found in ‘One And All, Together, For Home’ are available exclusively on this compilation."

un très bel album comme d’habitude avec primordial. Plus direct que le précédent. Le groupe va a l'essentiel et c'est juste l’album de l'année : de la puissance et de l'émotion sans chi-chi . Allan est juste fabuleux ! A écouter d'urgence

Encore un groupe où je suis complètement passé à côté, malgré les critiques toujours élogieuses.
Et ce que j'en écoute est d'une force incroyable, dynamique,épique, beau. Entre BATHORY époque viking et le 1er OPETH.

La première écoute a été une excellente surprise. Seulement je me méfie des albums qui se révèlent dés la premièr écoute.

Ce titre méritait limite un véritable clip, plutôt que des images live.
Un peu comme 'Babel's Tower', même si sur ce dernier clip il y a eu du travail au niveau de l'image.

Grosse déception pour moi cet album. Après un enchaînement de pépite je l'attendais avec une certaine confiance, et bien maintenant je me méfierais.
Oui, même PRIMORDIAL peut faire un album moyen.
