Voyager are back with new music. The Australian metallers just premiered a lyric video for their brand new single "Breaking Down". Since the band hasn't released an album since 2011's The Meaning Of I, fans will be eager to hear new material. Their forthcoming album is on the way and has an anticipated mid May release date after a crowdfunding campaign.

Australian progressive metal quintet VOYAGER will release their fifth studio album, V, in North America on June 3rd with distribution through Nightmare Records. The Kickstarter-funded, 13- track album was recorded at Templeman Audio with producer, Matt Templeman.
The band calls the release "heavy, groovy and super-catchy. This is going to be pure, polished Voyager with a modern feel; we are insanely excited about unleashing this."

J'avais découvert le groupe avec ce titre mettant en avant le côté catchy du groupe, sur l'album de 2009. Le chanteur a une voix à part, pas forcément metal, mais c'est bien comme ça.

Australian progressive cult force Voyager is back with a new album entitled "Ghost Mile." The band smashed the Pledge Music campaign target in just over a week and then two days after released the first single "Ascension."
Today, the band has now revealed the album artwork and track listing for "Ghost Mile," which is set for a May 12th release. The artwork (shown below) was done by the band's drummer Ashley Doodkorte.

Décidément ils ont vraiment envie de gagner l'Eurovision, c'est leur deuxième tentative.
Bon c'est évidemment plus simple et "dance" que leur registre habituel, mais pas si édulcoré que ça sous les apparences, et le groupe a toujours eu ce côté accessible au plus grand nombre.
