Armored Saint : Win Hands Down

Le nouvel album devrait sortir l'année prochaine :

Veteran Los Angeles metallers ARMORED SAINT have inked a new deal with Metal Blade Records for the release of the band's next studio album, due in 2015.

"We have been with Metal Blade for the last three records now," ARMORED SAINT singer John Bush said during an appearance on the inaugural episde of the "Inside Metal" show with host Bob Nalbandian (see video below).

Bush, who fronted ANTHRAX between 1992 and 2005, and temporarily rejoined the group for a number of shows in late 2009 and early 2010 but stepped aside in May 2010 in order to make room for the return of Joey Belladonna, added: "[Metal Blade head honcho] Brian [Slagel] is awesome. Without Brian, there would, basically, not be ARMORED SAINT, quite frankly; there would not be a band. I mean, for him I think it's a labor of love. He's not looking to go out and buy a new house in Miami Beach with the revenue that he's gonna get from ARMORED SAINT. He does it 'cause he cares, and he wants it, and he believes in us, and he knows that he likes the music that we're making, and we're extremely honored and happy that he does that."

ARMORED SAINT's as-yet-untitled new album will feature the following songs, among others:

* "Win Hands Down"
* "Mess"
* "Muscle Memory"
* "An Exercise In Debauchery"
* "In An Instant"
* "Up Yours"

About the track "Up Yours", Bush said: "It's gonna be a great song. [It's got a] very big anthem-type vibe to it. It's not gonna sound anything like 'Can U Deliver' [from ARMORED SAINT's debut album, 1984's 'March Of The Saint'], but if there was a vibe that just kind of felt like that, it's this song. And it's cool. It's got a cool title and a fun chorus that you can sing along to."

Son nom et sa date de sortie sont connus :

The iconic Armored Saint has returned with one of their heaviest records of their illustrious career. The crushing, epic new full-length release, Win Hands Down, shows the band have only grown stronger and tighter with age, making for a dynamic and enthralling metal masterpiece. Look for the new album out June 2nd and more details (album art, track-listing, new music video, etc) will be announced over the coming weeks.

on est rarement déçu avec ce groupe, ils ont souvent sortis des albums de qualité, donc là achat d'office pour moi.

sinon bel hommage sur leur page facebook posté le 28 février dernier, c'est à dire 25 ans pile après la mort de David Prichard décédé le 28 fèvrier 1990 donc. RIP brother !!

J'adore Armored Saint depuis leurs débuts. C'est la grand classe ! Par contre, dans ces trois morceaux, je ne retrouve pas la subtilité ni le côté aérien que j'aime tant chez eux. C'est poussif.

Je l'ai pas beaucoup écouté mais pas du tout déçu de ce que j'ai entendu pour l'instant.
Et les titres de l'album joués au HF passaient superbement bien.

Écouté une fois et ça ne m'a pas trop marqué, trop rock dans l'ensemble. Faudrait peut-être que je réécoute mais c'est pas mon genre de heavy préféré.

morceau vraiment bon ! mais l'album vaut vraiment le coup je confirme, il a tourné un moment chez moi !
