Norwegian rockers KVELERTAK will release their third album, "Nattesferd", on May 13 via Roadrunner. The follow-up to 2013's "Meir" was recorded live at Amper Tone Studio in Oslo, Norway (KVELERTAK's first effort to be recorded in the group's homeland) and was produced by the band and mixed/engineered by Nick Terry (LINDSTRØM, TURBONEGRO, THE LIBERTINES).
Commented KVELERTAK frontman Erlend Hjelvik: "We are finally getting ready to release our third album, 'Nattesferd', on the world, and however cliché it may sound, I'm not afraid to say that this is our best one yet. It's an exquisite smorgasbord of riffs infused with everything between the best of classic rock and heavy metal. I'm certain it will blow the minds of both old and new fans."
pas vraiment convaincu par ce premier extrait. Un peu trop soft a mon goût. On verra pour le reste mais j'ai du mal a être enthousiaste. Je pense que ce groupe a plus ou moins atteint son potentiel.
Comme d'hab', et même si Kvelertak ne sont pas chez Nuclear Blast qui ont le don de sélectionner les pires morceaux des albums comme single, il ne faut pas se fier aux extraits et il vaut mieux attendre de pouvoir écouter l'album entier

Après les avoir raté à Toulouse en 2015 alors que je ne connaissais pas, je les découvre actuellement vraiment avec cet album et ça me botte le cul. Je ne vais pas les rater au Hellfest d'autant plus qu'ils sont passés TA de la Warzone du vendredi alors qu'ils étaient prévu pour 50 mn show à 18h35 à l'origine.

C'est LE changement qui m'emmerde, je me faisais une joie de les revoir mais là ça commence avant la fin de Rammstein et aller jusqu'à la Warzone ça va être la galère, je resterai devant Offspring
C'est pas tip-top, mais en même temps ils passent tête d'affiche, donc on aura droit un vrai set.
Et pour les avoir vu y'a 2 ans sur la Warzone, ça poutrait bien (et tant pis pour Rammstein )
Norwegian rockers KVELERTAK have announced the addition of singer Ivar Nikolaisen to the group's ranks. He joins the band as the replacement for longtime frontman Erlend Hjelvik, who announced his departure from KVELERTAK earlier in the week.
KVELERTAK said in a statement: "We are immensely excited to have Ivar on board, and what he will bring to the band.
"KVELERTAK has had a history with Ivar since the bands early days. Both as a tour companion with his other bands (SILVER, THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE ZUGLY), and as the guest vocalist on 'Blodtørst'. Ivar is the frontman we could hope for, and nothing is more natural for us than for him to take over the throne."
Ivar added: "I've been a huge fan of KVELERTAK ever since I first saw them nearly ten years ago. It's an honor to be a part of the band! I will not try to copy Erlend. Erlend is a lion. I'm just a small rat. But this rat is pissed off, infectious, and full of pestilence — ready to take this machine to new heights!"
