Juste une remarque en passant: est-ce que tu pourrais éviter le langage SMS et écrire avec des mots français en entier?

Sinon, par speed mélodique, c'est grosso modo tous les groupes qui se sont inspirés de Helloween et de Stratovarius, en jouant une musique rapide, mélodique avec double grosse caisse et trop souvent un chant haut perché... et je ne trouve pas que Kamelot rentre vraiment dans cette catégorie, sauf pour certains titres. A la limite, peut-être, l'album "Fourth legacy", et encore...

Voilà à la limite certain titres, mais bon a ce moment là Queensrÿche aussi fait du speed melodique

Pour moi Kamelot est un groupe de Mélodie Heavy Métal qui est plus Raffiné que Heavy Métal

L'importance pour moi c'est leur Musique qui me plait

J'ai vraiment écou(allu)ciné, avec l'album "Epica",rien à jeter, les refrains enfin les compos accrochent du 1er coup ,très bon album à mon goût[/size]
pour moi heavy mélodique : le claque d'entrée (sans clavier)

KAMELOT have finalized the track listing for their new album, "The Black Halo", due on March 14, 2005 through Steamhammer Records/SPV. The follow-up to last year's "Epica" was produced by Sascha Paeth and Miro at Gate and Pathway studios in Germany and features guest appearances by Shagrath (DIMMU BORGIR), Jens Johansson (STRATOVARIUS), Simone Simons (EPICA), Mari (MASQUERAID), as well as the KAMELOT choir, featuring Herbie Langhans (SEVENTH AVENUE), Amanda Somerville-Scharf, Miro, Gerit Göbel, Thomas Rettke (HEAVEN'S GATE) and Elisabeth Kjaernes, among others.

In a recent interview with a Spanish metal magazine, KAMELOT mainman/songwriter Thomas Youngblood spoke about about the lyrical themes on the new CD.

"This will be the second and final segment of the 'Epica' story," he revealed. "However artistically it is a different album altogether. The cover is different, the songs are heavier and the subject is definitely on the darker side of the story. Much like the second part of 'Faust'. Lyrically, there is a finalization of the story and conclusion of the saga. There are many parallels to our own lives today. Religion is a big theme on this new album one cannot deny the rôle that religion has on current events around the world.

"We knew that we would record the second part of the 'Epica' story," he continued. "The question was whether to do it now or later. Since the new songs on the album are really a different album from 'Epica' we thought to do it now. The story line continues into the main character Ariel's descent into the dark side of life. We are always changing and evolving with the sound and artwork, so the next release will reflect that. We have a black metal vocalist [DIMMU BORGIR's Shagrath] play the part of Mephisto. Logically."

The band will shoot two videos in Sweden for the songs "The Haunting" and "March of Mephisto" with director Patric Ullaeus.

As previously reported, KAMELOT will embark on the "The Black Halo Tour 2005" beginning on March 18. Confirmed dates are as follows:

Une édition limitée en digipack avec des version "edit" (c'est à dire coupée... donc d'un intérêt limité) est prévue pour l'Europe... et deux bonus tracks inédits pour le Japon!

KAMELOT's new album, "The Black Halo", will be released in Japan on February 16 and will include two bonus tracks ("Epilogue" and "Soul Society" radio edit), according to the group's management. The European version, which is scheduled to it stores on March 14, will be a limited-edition digipak with two additional bonus cuts ("The Haunting" radio edit and "March of Mephisto" radio edit). The CD is scheduled for release in North America on March 15 via SPV Records.

"The Black Halo", which was recently named Album of the Month by the writers of Burrn! (Japan's biggest and most respected metal magazine), was produced by Sascha Paeth and Miro at Gate and Pathway studios in Germany. C'est le guitariste/claviériste de DORO qui va accompagner KAMELOT sur scène, mais la nouveauté c'est qu'il va également jouer de la gratte dans ces derniers, et c'est la première fois qu'ils ont 2 guitares en live il me semble... ?

Although the cat has been out of the bag for the last week or so, KAMELOT has officially confimed that DORO keyboardist/guitarist Oliver Palotai, who has also been working with BLAZE, will be joining them on the road for their upcoming tour in support of The Black Halo. In a recent interview with BW&BK, guitarist Thomas Youngblood revealed that Palotai will not be restricted to playing keys; his talents will also be used to fatten up Kamelot's guitar sound where needed.
