The Tampa, Florida-based death metal legends are set to release their eighth full-length studio album titled Death Rituals November 11th via Metal Blade Records.
According to a press release, Death Rituals features 13 tracks of pure American death metal delivering a bludgeoning slab of metal that will leave fans hungering for more. Legendary death metal vocalist Chris Barnes, along with guitarist Steve Swanson, bass legend Terry Butler, and drummer Greg Gall, continue to follow the dark and demented path that merges tried and true death groove with stomach-turning lyrics and themes.
Death Rituals saw the band returning to Morrisound Studios in Tampa, FL with Chris Carroll at the helm with mixing duties being handled by Toby Wright and the return of Six Feet Under’s old friend Bill Metoyer, who recorded the bands CD Warpath, helping out with recording of the drums.
Death Rituals tracklisting: 'Death By Machete', 'Involuntary Movement Of Dead Flesh', 'None Will Escape', 'Eulogy For The Undead', 'Seed Of Filth', 'Bastard', 'Into The Crematorium', 'Shot In The Head', 'Killed In Your Sleep', 'Crossroads To Armageddon', 'Ten Deadly Plagues', 'Crossing The River Styx' (Guitar Outro), 'Murder Addiction'.

SIX FEET UNDER 2011
To the loyal fans of Six Feet Under-
Our long time friends and bandmates, Terry Butler and Greg Gall , have decided to move on and depart from SFU. Steve Swanson and myself are grateful for all the fun times we've shared together through the years, and wish them the best of luck in their musical endeavors.
just to fill you all in, Steve and myself are very excited about the future of the SFU, and i have been working hard on writing the new SFU material for the past 4 months with a new writing partner.
i will make this guarantee and promise to all the fans of Six Feet Under; the new line up will be a DEATH METAL force to be dealt with, with the long awaited addition of a brutal as fuck drummer and riffs that will rip your face off, vocals ala 1993-1995...
thank you all for your continued support and devotion, see you soon!

"I am 110 percent stoked to have Kevin join SIX FEET UNDER. He is undeniably one of the best, if not THE best drummer in death metal, and I'm proud to have him along for the ride!" Chris Barnes

Les dates :WE WOULD LIKE TO ANNOUNCE AND WELCOME THE ADDITION OF GUITARIST, ROB ARNOLD TO THE SIX FEET UNDER FAMILY! Just wanted to give you a Six Feet Under band update and let you all know that we would like to announce our good friend Rob Arnold will be joining SFU as 2nd rhythm guitarist for up coming touring duties, as well as collaborating on the new cd.
Barnes- "I couldn't be happier about the new songs and line up! Rob and myself have been collaborating on new songs along with the bands new drummer,Kevin Talley< www.drummerkevintalley.com>for the past few months. We are all feeling really excited about the bands future, and the raw intensity of the songs that we have created together so far. THIS IS THE HEAVIEST MOST EXCITING MATERIAL THAT IVE WORKED ON SINCE THE BLEEDING, AND IM STOKED THAT ROB WILL BE HELPING OUT CREATING THIS CD WITH US! we've all known each other for a while and we're really looking forward to continue writing the new cd and future tours. We are committed to taking Six Feet Under to the next level of brutality!!!"
Arnold- "Its been an amazing honor and opportunity to have been called upon by one of my biggest idols, Chris Barnes!! Six Feet Under and the Barnes era Cannibal stuff had enormous effects on me as a young musician, and still do to this day. In 1996, I was a kid in the front row screaming my head off to Lycanthropy and Torn to the Bone... And now here I am, being asked to play the songs on stage with the band! Dreams do come true!!! And the stuff we've been writing absolutely RIPS! Watch out!!"
