After 25 years of existence, the legendary German heavy metal band GRAVE DIGGER has signed a long-term deal with the Spanish record label Locomotive Records.
Commented Goyo Esteban, President of Locomotive Records: "We are very proud that a heavy metal legend like GRAVE DIGGER puts that much trust in us. After the presentation of the first demo songs of the new album it was clear that something really BIG will come up for us, and it was obvious that we will release this new milestone of classic metal on Locomotive Records."
On September 22, 2006, Locomotive Records will release a new GRAVE DIGGER single, "Yesterday". The single will be accompanied by a bonus DVD of the band's performance on Rock Machina Festival in 2001. The new GRAVE DIGGER album will follow on January 12, 2007, with a subsequent GRAVE DIGGER/THERION European co-headlining tour to take place between January 18 and February 17. More information will be made available soon.

As previously reported, GRAVE DIGGER are currently working on a new
album, due out in January 2007. Guitarist Manni Schmidt has issued the
following update on how things are progressing:
"We re-recorded the classic GD hit 'Yesterday' in a 'normal' rock
version and a classic version arranged by HP. Both are thought to be on
the single which will be released on 29th October. Also, we recorded a
new song which doesn’t really fit to the style of the album - 'Reaper’s
Dance' - but it rocks like hell! Our cover version of 'No Quarter' from
LED ZEPPELIN, only published on a Zeppelin tribute album so far, will be
a bonus feature. Not to forget the special, a bonus DVD containing our
performance on the Rockmachina Festival in Spain in 2001. That’s value
for money, isn’t it?
By the way, click http://www.mannischmidt.de/welcome.php?modul=20
here to see the tour dates of the next GD tour which will start on 17th
January in Essen. 15 countries in 32 days - that will be heavy!
Next news will follow soon because the PHOENIX RISING album is just
about ready. The mix will be sent to Principal Studio tomorrow for
mastering and Vince will give it its finishing touches."
So long - See you soon!
Yours, Manni
Also as reported, Grave Digger recently inked a deal with Spanish label
Locomotive Records.

http://www.locomotivemusic.com/lanzamie ... audio.html

Il s'intituera "liberty or death".

Quant à Rebellion...Wait and see.
