Leur bassiste Tim Gaines ne fait plus partie du groupe, difficile de savoir pourquoi avec ce communiqué :

Reunited Christian hard rockers STRYPER have officially parted ways with bassist Timothy Gaines. The group's statement on the matter is as follows:

"After much prayer, deep consideration, conversations, and deliberation, it has been decided, by all four of the original members of STRYPER that bassist Timothy Gaines will not be performing with the band during any upcoming concerts.

"This was not an easy decision for anyone involved. The four recently convened to discuss this very heartfelt and difficult topic. The departure was an amicable one on behalf of everyone.

"Timothy Gaines was not asked to leave the band, nor was there a ceremonious resignation. It was simply a decision made by all parties, in an effort to individually preserve their respective calling, personally and professionally.

"Management has requested that the fans respect each member throughout what has been a difficult process.

"While a decision such as this one can often lend itself to speculation, idle rumors, and public discussions, we instead ask that you respect everyone involved, keep them in your prayers, and refrain from negative exchange, both privately and publicly.

"A replacement bass player will be named on a show by show basis until further notice.

Au fait Cardinal, je suppose que tu l'as ce dernier live?

Je le trouve très bien perso, mieux que ce à quoi je m'attendais, y'a pas à dire ils ont d'excellents restes, y compris Michael Sweet.
Il manque juste "In God We Trust" dans la setlist, et la deuxième guitare sur quelques titres, sinon c'est la tata classe!

je l'ai toujours pas acheté, j'l'ai pas vu dans les bacs, mais j'ai une copie je le trouve brilliant, tient j'aurais du le citer dans mes lives de l'année la set list est bien sentie et tape dans les titres les plus heavy, si je devais faire mon "best of" perso j'en serais pas loin, pis live les titres sont encore plus heavy j'adore et le sweet n'a rien perdu de sa superbe, mais je suis fan ça donne envie de les voir en Europe en tous cas

Ils ont un nouveau bassiste en la personne de Tracy Ferrie, qui acocmpagnait déjà Michael Sweet en solo :

Reunited Christian hard rockers STRYPER have officially announced Tracy Ferrie as their new bass player. "Ferrie's bass talents are well displayed on the forthcoming STRYPER album on Big3 Records," reads a post on the group's web site. "Tracy Ferrie is not entirely new to the STRYPER family as he spent many years playing in Michael Sweet's band and performed in Orlando with STRYPER at Disney's Night of Joy festival in September of 2004. Ferrie's history in the music business is long and impressive ranging from very notable national acts to professional schooling at The Berklee College of Music (not to mention a solid run as a Sunset Strip regular back in the day). So, be sure to welcome Tracy to the family... And if you have the chance to meet him in person, ask about his days as a Tuba player."
