Les 2 premiers albums de PARADOX qui défouraillent tout (enfin, surtout Heresy ) sont réédités une nouvelle fois.
Metal Mind Productions will re-release two albums from long-Germany's PARADOX — "Product of Imagination" and "Heresy" — on August 13 in Europe and October 8 in North America (via MVD). Both titles are expanded with bonus material — live tracks, demos and video clips. In addition, each title will be made available in a new digipack edition on golden disc, digitally remastered using 24-bit technology, limited to a hand-numbered 2,000 copies.
The beginnings of PARADOX go back to 1986 when vocalist/guitarist Charly Steinhauer and drummer Axel Blaha formed the band in Würzburg, Germany. Markus Spyth (guitars) and Roland Stahl (bass) joined the band to complete PARADOX's first official lineup. Year 1986 also brought the group's first demo tape sent to Roadrunner Records who decided to sign the band for a worldwide record deal.

C'est du Thrash old school, le groupe est allemand mais ne sonne en aucun cas comme les Destruction, Kreator ou Assassin: leur style est plus mélodique et technique, orienté Bay Area.

Oulà ça me dit bien ça ça fait longtemps que je me suis pas pris une baffe "thrash" , c'est vrai que 2007 pour le thrash, ça a pas été bien rempli

Un up pour ce groupe.
Bizarre que les gens en parlent pas plus. Effectivement, comme l'a dit Flo, les deux premiers albums sont monstrueux !! En fait, il s'agit de leurs seuls albums avant le split.
Voilà, c'est tout. En fait, je m'écoute Product Of Imagination là, et j'avais envie de le criyeah au monde.

J'ai revendu Electrify il y a peu, pas original voire carrément téléphoné, rien de transcendant, bref après quelques écoutes je m'ennuyais sévère. Par contre j'appellerais pas ca du thrash, mais plutôt du speed metal voire, en tout cas pour Electrify.

Ouais. Enfin pour moi Paradox, c'est Heresy et Product Of Imagination. Les albums depuis la reformation, je m'en bats la race.

Il paraît que Collision Course, l'album d'avant, est vraiment excellent, mais je l'ai jamais écouté.
Mais fais moi confiance : les deux premiers albums sont des putains tueries thrash !! La plupart des gens préfèrent Heresy, mais les deux sont excellents.

Normal Heresy est clairement plus abouti, autant dans les compos que le concept ou encore la production. A ma connaissance c'est d'ailleurs le seul album conceptuel dans le speed/thrash metal (hormis Voivod peut-être, mais on s'éloigne du thrash old-school).
Je ne connais que très peu les albums de la reformation, mais le peu que j'en ai entendu ne m'a pas déplu. Par contre sur scène au KIT, c'était un peu décevant.
