Pour ma part, ça sera le "Necroticism", à la croisée des précédentes réalisations avec un côté plus technique !

N'aimant pas le Death en général, je ne connais pas les premiers, mais la claque à l'epoque de la sortie de "Heartwork" !!!
Ca reste un des meilleurs son studio que j'ai pu entendre, des riffs bandants, bref un must !

symphonies of sickness pour moi. l'ambiance est énorme, ultra crade et hyper violent. j'adore le suivant aussi (et heartwork) le reste soit je connais pas sois j'aime pas (le tout premier) mais putain, ces 3 albums sont indispensable

Heartwork, c'est pour moi le sommet mais j'admets avoir une tendresse particulière pour Reek Of Putrefaction qui est absolument génial dans son approche

NECROTICISM est pour moi le plus à la croisée des chemins, trop technique pour être grind comme sur les deux albums, et trop boueux pour être sophistiqué comme Heartwork. J'adore tous les albums de ce groupe, même Swansong qui est très différent.

Necroticism bien sûr ! Un de mes albums de Death metal préféré ! Celui en tout cas que j'ai le plus écouté !

Je ne connais que Heartwork que je trouve très sympa, très bonne prod, riffs et solos qui tuent, ça joue vite et bien, un must quoi !!!!

Je les aime tous, ils sont tous excellents dans leurs genres.
Cracrass ça fait partie des groupes intouchables pour moi. Évolution bien négociée et logique, qui sent l'intégrité ; contrairement à d'autres qui ont plus cédé à la facilité ou ont voulu élargir leur public.
J'ai un attachement particulier à Heartwork, qui était mon premier Carcass. Quelle baffe !!
Confirmation lorsque j'ai découvert Necroticism quelques temps plus tard. Ces deux albums sont incontournables pour moi. On touche à la perfection, tellement originaux et bien composés.
Les deux premier sont des monuments de grind death. On peut ne pas aimer le style, mais ce sont des albums fondateurs qui ont ouvert (avec d'autres
) la voie à toute une scène. Souvent copiés, rarement égalés.
Quant à Swansong, son groove est irrésistible. C'est frais, rock'n'roll, toujours avec la "Carcass touch". Ils sont allé au bout du bout de ce qu'ils voulaient faire à cette époque, et le résultat est génial.
Allez, je vote quand-même pour Heartwork, parce qu'il fait partie des albums qui ont changé ma vie.

Va pour Heartwork également; le premier du groupe que j'ai découvert, en 1998! Suivi de peu par Swansong puis Necroticism! En gros suis plus client de la dernière période du groupe!
