J'ai mis la news car il y a des intéressés mais à titre perso j'avoue que je préfèrerais de loin réentendre Urban Breed dans un pur groupe, j'ai rien contre Bloodbound mais ça reste un combo tellement banal au fond...

c'est sûr que Nosferatu n'inventait rien du tout et manquait de personnalité, mais je le trouvais d'un niveau tellement bon que ça me dérangeait pas. En fait, je préfère cet album à n'importe quel disque de Tad Morose (groupe au style plus personnel mais que j'apprécie sans plus en fait, mon préféré est Undead).
Après de nombreuses écoutes, j'ai enfin réussi à rentrer dans cet album.
Il a fallu un peu de temps, mais ça en valait la peine car plusieurs compos sont bien entêtantes une fois assimilées.
Ca me rappelle un peu le Madtropolis de Chinchilla. Pas évident à assimiler mais on a du mal à s'en passer une fois que cet effort a été fait.
Je n'avais pas pris Nosferatu, je pense à me le procurer du coup.

Swedish melodic metallers BLOODBOUND have parted ways with lead vocalist Urban Breed due to "musical and personal differences" and have replaced him with 27-year-old Patrik "Pata" Johansson (pictured below; DAWN OF SILENCE) from Finspång, Sweden. The band states , "Patrik has been a good friend to the band for a while, and with a great voice sounding like a mix between Bruce Dickinson and Tobias Sammet, he will fit perfectly into the band."

Dommage dommage, sont lourd quand même. Ce groupe ne fut qu'un feu de paille, le 1er album était vraiment excellent.

Depuis le départ de Urban Breed (ex-Tad Morose, ex-Pyramaze, et ex-Bloodbound donc), ce groupe de heavy metal suédois a recruté un autre chanteur et sorti un album récemment :
Tiens un groupe qui sort de l'ordinaire !! qui aurait pu figurer dans mon top du mois. Et un très bon album de Power, varié , tempo médium ou speed , un voix classique mais parfaite, un parfum d'Edguy parfois .Pas un titre à jeter ...enfin si jetez-vous dessus !

Leur précédent opus, Tabula rasa, m'avait très déçu, c'était vraiment une tentative totalement ratée de faire un heavy moderne. Marrant de voir qu'ils avaient totalement échoué là où Hammerfall s'en est plutôt bien sorti sur son Infected. Bref, tout ça pour dire que j'ai bien envie de l'écouter ce dernier, vu qu'il sont revenus apparemment à quelques chose de plus traditionnel.

D'accord avec Dark Schneider concernant le "Tabula Rasa", que je trouve aussi très faible.
Là, ce nouvel album m'a agréablement surpris, et à part deux/trois titres moyens, c'est du bon heavy avec quelques relents Hammerfall ma foi bien intégrés.

Le 1er, Nosferatu, est carrément excellent !
Le second, The Book of the Dead, est pas mal du tout.
Le troisième, Tabula Rasa est nul à chier (une tentative totalement foireuse de moderniser leur metal).
Quant aux suivants, ils sont sympa sans plus, ça se laisse écouter agréablement.
C'est vraiment un groupe auquel je fondais beaucoup d'espoir au vu de leur premier album et finalement ils n'ont jamais vraiment confirmé.
