Tankard's new album One Foot In The Grave cover art has been unveiled. This 35th anniversary album will be released on June 2nd, 2017 via Nuclear Blast. And the iconic band mascot, the Tankard-Alien, celebrates his return after about 13 years of absence. The alien was born in 1989 with the Alien EP and has already graced five album covers. The Tankard fan club "Maniac Aliens" is named after it also. Feast your eyes on it below.
The artwork was brought to life by Patrick Strogulski, who is a student of Sebastian Krüger, the former Tankard cover artist. He also created the cover artworks for A Girl Called Cerveza and R.I.B..

j'aime bien le titre et le message !
Pas trop le style de Tankard tel que je me l'imagine mais je connais assez peu Tankard.

Two months ago, the German thrash metal legends Tankard played the Eintracht Frankfurt club anthem "Schwarz-Weiß Wie Schnee" in front of over 30.000 enthusiastic Frankfurt supporters, a short time before the kick-off of the German cup final between Eintracht Frankfurt and Borussia Dortmund at Berlin's Olympic Stadium. The band just announced that a new version of the EP Schwarz-Weiß Wie Schnee, which has been completely sold out for over ten years, will be released on CD and 7" Vinyl on 15 September 2017 via Nuclear Blast.
The Eintracht anthem, which has been played in the stadium for ten years before every home game of Eintracht Frankfurt, has now been completely re-recorded by the band. The thrashers were supported by Henni Nachtsheim (Badesalz), Ande Werner (Mundstuhl) and Roy Hammer (Roy Hammer & Die Pralinées), who can be heard in the backing choir.

Three months ago, Tankard played the Eintracht Frankfurt club anthem “Schwarz-weiß wie Schnee” in front of over 30,000 enthusiastic Frankfurt supporters, a short time before the kick-off of the German cup final between Eintracht Frankfurt and Borussia Dortmund at Berlin's Olympic Stadium.
