Alors je ne sais pas si cela va intéresser grand monde mais la seconde édition du Monolith festival avait été un gros coup de coeur pour moi
L'été prochain les mecs de Cork remettent le couvert et ce pour deux jours ! Une occasion pour moi de me faire un petit séjour dans la plus mignonne des villes Irlandaises. Les "Corkiens" sont très gentils et les pintes ne coûtent que 5€
Je pense que cela réunira des groupes locaux mais peut-être aussi des formations internationnales. L'année derniére Rotting Christ était en tête d'affiche.
Paranoid Beast Promotions presents the 3nd annual Monolith Festival.
The two day indoor Metal festival will take place on Friday July 31st and Saturday August 1st, 2020 at the prestigious venue Cyprus Avenue right in the centre of Cork City, Ireland.
This unique festival features a diverse range of Irish and international bands and aims to breathe new life into the Cork Metal Scene.

Concernant les prix :
Les "early birds" (54,23€ pour les deux jours) sont partis.
Le vendredi coûte 38.22€.
Le samedi coûte 71.35€
Les deux soirs coûtent 86.26€.
Ouais les prix sont un peu bizarres, la faute aux frais.

Au final : affiche sympa. Je suis impatient de voir Swallow The Sun comme j'adore leur dernier album. Hate est bien sympathique sur album donc c'est plutôt cool qu'ils soient sur l'affiche.
Je dois toujours découvrir Conan, Cancer, et approfondir Benediction. Ces-derniers sur album je pense que cela me saoulerait vite mais sur scène pendant une heure il y a moyen que cela passe bien.

Le festival se retrouve une fois de plus repoussé en 2022.
Here we go again....
So, no surprises here, but we're going to have to postpone our festivities for another year.
At best, we could have waited another few weeks on the off-chance that restrictions might ease enough to allow a small amount of people through the doors. Obviously, and for several reasons, this is not something we want to do.
Tickets bought for the postponed events of 2020 and 2021 will, of course, be honoured.

Hopefully this will be the last time we have to do this, and we hope to see you on July 29th and 30th, 2022.
