Reformés depuis quatre ans, ils bossent enfin sur un nouvel album

Reformed German thrashers ASSASSIN will enter the studio in January 2007 to begin recording its fourth album, tentatively due next spring. A European tour will follow between April 20 and May 10. Exact cities and dates will be announced soon.

As previously reported, ASSASSIN is currently seeking a bassist for studio work and live shows. Interested parties can contact the group at info@assassin-online.de.

ASSASSIN earlier in the year inked a deal with Marquee Records to have its first two albums (1987's "The Upcoming Terror" and 1988's "Interstellar Experience") distributed in North/South America and Japan. The band's long-awaited third offering, "The Club", is currently available for order via its official web site.

La formation allemande ASSASSIN vient de mettre le nouveau titre intitulé "Judas" sur sa page myspace http://www.myspace.com/assassinthrashmetal - Le groupe est à la recherche d'un label pour sortir son quatrième album prévu pour 2009.

J'ai découvert ce groupe vachement sur le tard (il doit y avoir même pas 3 ans), mais c'est vraiment du ttout bon. J'aime beaucoup ce genre de thrash metal old school.

Changement de batteur et bassiste :

Reactivated German thrashers ASSASSIN have issued the following update:

"Longtime member Frank Nellen [drums] has left the band due to private reason and has been replaced by Björn Sondermann (WICKED KEMAO and many more). New man on the bass is Joachim Kremer who also is a very experienced musician who played in many different project (SKINNY BOLD etc.).

"The band is busy finishing songs for the next album and are currently searching for a new record label." According to the group, the upcoming CD will feature "old-school thrash with a modern touch!"

Ils ont signé sur SPV, pour un nouvel album et des rééditions.

Reactivated German thrashers ASSASSIN have inked a new deal with SPV/Steamhammer Records. The label will release the band's next studio album and will reissue the classic LPs, 1987's "The Upcoming Terror" and 1988's "Interstellar Experience".

ASSASSIN reunited in 2002 and performed at the 2003 edition of the Wacken Open Air festival.

The band's third album, "The Club", was self-produced and self-released in 2005.

Un nouvel album va sortir:

ASSASSIN (Allemagne - Thrash Metal) a intitulé son prochain album "Breaking The Silence". Sortie prévue en février 2011 chez SPV/Steamhammer Records (VS-Webzine)

Putain, oui, ca cogne dur Assassin. Sur la trax Bullets, ils n'ont rien à envier à leur congénères Brésiliens.

Ils faisaient une bonne bande de brutos à l'époque en Teutonie avec Violent Force et Deathrow, quand même.

Sinon, y en a qui ont écouté l'album sorti il y a peu ? Ca vaut quoi ? Parce que je me méfie énormément des retours d'anciens groupes comme ça.

je pense qu'il parlait de breaking the silence, qui est à mon sens un excellent album, ils sont revenus en forme.
Bine que très crossover et pas assez old school, mais bon

Je voulais parler de celui-ci. D'une, la pochette, c'est The Upcomming Terror en réactualisée et en moins "in your face", de deux, le nom de l'album me rappelle étrangement une bombe sortie en 86. Ca m'avait pas vraiment donnée envie.

D'ailleurs, je savais même pas qu'il y en avait un sorti en 2005. Note sur MetalArchives : 37 %... OK

Sinon, merci, pour vos avis. J'irai p'tet jeter une oreille la-dessus à l'occase. Tous ces retours, à vrai dire, y en a aucun qui m'a botté. Alors, je demandais à tout hasard...

Nouveau DVD en septembre.

"Chaos And Live Shots", a brand new DVD from German thrashers ASSASSIN, will be released in September. The disc is expected to feature footage of the band's spring 2010 concerts in Japan. Check out a trailer below.

Robert Gonnella n'est plus le chanteur du groupe :

“We all were lying crippled on the floor, as, all of a sudden, this guy shows up! And he slapped us out of our delirium, with his voice,” says guitarist Michael Hoffmann.

The new guy on the microphone, Ingo “Crowzak” Bajonczak, formerly stretched his voice-cords in bands like Lord Of Giant, Supersoma or New Damage.

“Ingo was not only able to fill in the blank, but, as he´s an experienced Guitarist, he´s able to communicate with the rest of the band on a whole other level,” says the band in unison.
