C'est un nouveau groupe suédois qui comprend dans ses rangs Urban Breed, le chanteur de Tad Morose. Mais le style est moins personnel que ces derniers...

Leur premier album sort le 24 Février.

BLOODBOUND, the new Swedish metal band featuring Urban Breed (TAD MOROSE; vocals), Fredrik Bergh (STREET TALK; bass, keyboards and backing vocals) and Tomas Olsson (lead and rhythm guitars), have just released their debut album, "Nosferatu", in Japan via Marquee Inc./Avalon. The European release is expected on February 24 via Metal Heaven.

"Nosferatu" was recorded and produced by Tomas Olsson and Fredrik Bergh. This ambitious project took over one year to finish and "not a single track on the album is less than one hundred channels!" according to a press release. "On 'Nosferatu' the band is combining the musicality and the classical elements of bands like IRON MAIDEN, JUDAS PRIEST and HELLOWEEN!" the press release adds. The album cover was created by Mark Wilkinson, who has previously designed covers for bands like IRON MAIDEN, THE DARKNESS, JUDAS PRIEST and MARILLION.

Et ben quelle claque cet album

un mélange de maiden (sur certains titres) et de heavy metal melodique puissant à la edguy avec quelques touches symphoniques
le chanteur assure grave, les mélodies et les chorus sont excellents
mon album du moment :evil:

Je confirme !
grâce à Kylen j'ai découvert ce nouveau groupe, et même si c'est moins recherché que Tad Morose que j'aime beaucoup, c'est excellent ! Le chanteur est evidemment au top du top, y a des "hohohohoho" un peu partout, des grattes, des tagadas à la Edguy sur "VGO" ou "Theater..."...Non vraiment du super melodiquement bon !

bonnard ce groupe, ça faisait longtemps qu'un groupe de Speed mélodique m'avait autant accroché... par contre les clins d'oeil à Maiden ou Helloween sont un peu trop évident par moment, mais bon autant copier ce qui est bon

BLOODBOUND, the new Swedish metal band featuring Urban Breed (ex-TAD MOROSE; vocals), Fredrik Bergh (STREET TALK; bass, keyboards and backing vocals) and Tomas Olsson (lead and rhythm guitars), will make their debut live appearance on April 22 at a "secret" location close to the band's hometown of Bollnäs. The show, which the band will play "only for the hardcore fans and friends," will be filmed for an upcoming DVD. Only 200 tickets will apparently be released.

As previously reported, BLOODBOUND have been confirmed for the Gothenburg Metal Festival, set to take place April 29-30 at Musikens Hus in Gothenburg, Sweden. The band will also perform at the Alingsås Hårdrocksfestival on May 6 in Alingsås, Sweden.

BLOODBOUND's debut album, "Nosferatu", was released in Europe in february via Metal Heaven. The CD was recorded and produced by Tomas Olsson and Fredrik Bergh. ouais franchement ça ils pourraient s'en abstenir, ça n'a aucun intérêt si ce n'est de saturer le marché d'image et de sons... enfin boycot quoi

Pourquoi "boycott" ? Moi j'adore le format DVD, c'est vraiment un plus pour le metal, et ça permet de voir des clips et des concerts qui n'ont pas les honneurs de nos chaînes hertziennes !
Pour revenir à BLOODBOUND, je trouve moi aussi que ce skeud est vraiment excellent. L'influence MAIDEN est évidente (parfois trop : cf l'intro du tout dernier morceau, notamment

), mais ce disque respire la fraîcheur, la spontanéité, et les mélodies et riffs sont vraiments très bons. Je les définirais un peu comme les TIERRA SANTA scandinaves. Un groupe à suivre de près.

je rejoins Miki quand il dit qu'on ressent une forte influence de Maiden et la voix me fait penser parfois a Dio .

Ca y est, j'ai reçu l'album et il est très bon. Ca ressemble beaucoup à Maiden, mais c'est très bien fait avec un chanteur fabuleux e, la présence de Urban Breed. C'est d'ailleurs la présence de l'ex-chanteur de Tad Morose qui m'avait poussé à m'intéresser au groupe, et je ne le regrette pas

Urban Breed quitte déjà le groupe, quelques mois seulement après avoir quitté Tad Morose!
Il va se consacrer à son album solo...

Vocalist Urban Breed (ex-TAD MOROSE) has officially left BLOODBOUND, the Swedish metal band also featuring Fredrik Bergh (STREET TALK; bass, keyboards and backing vocals) and Tomas Olsson (lead and rhythm guitars). "I've thought about this for some time and I've decided not to let Tomas and Bergh have any more of my time," Urban said in a statement. "The gig in Gothenburg [on August 8] was therefore the last thing I did for BLOODBOUND. (If it wasn't for Pelle [Åkerlind, drums] it would have been Norrtälje [on August 5].) Starting today, it's finally possible to focus entirely on my album.

"So how difficult am I to work with? It depends, naturally. Get me involved and have me be a part of the whole process and I think you'll find that most people would say I'm very easy to work with. Pay me and I'll do what you want but I might suggest you change certain things and I'll bitch about other things I find unbearable. I'll still do them if you say so. Have me invest both time and money where I have no say in the proceedings and no prospect of getting a share of possible future profit...
...Call me difficult if you will, I'm fine with it."

"nosferatu" a été pour moi une des meilleurs surprises de cette année, j'adore cet album.

BLACKMORE, RAIN) to the group's ranks. "Sounding heavier than ever, his powerful voice adds another dimension to BLOODBOUND," the band writes on its web site.

The group adds: "After a lot of emails and phone calls Michael finally arrived in Bollnäs, Sweden on the 27th of January to meet the band and to record the vocals for bloodbounds forthcoming album 'Book of the Dead'. We hit it off straight away and had a great time with Michael, both doing some serious recording and some heavy partying...

"We are very pleased with Michael's performace on the album and the new heavier sound his voice brings to the band. Sounding like a mix between Jorn Lande/Joe Lynn Turner/Coverdale yet with a personal touch he will surely turn some heads with his outstanding performance on this album."

"Book of the Dead" is scheduled for release in May. Audio samples and pictures from the recording studio can be found at this location.

Ouaip j'ai vu ça...Et je préférais Urban Breed! Les extraits ont l'air dans la même lignée que le précédent...affaire à suivre mais j'ai peu que l'album ne soit pas aussi bon que Nosferatu.

le groupe BLOODBOUND sortira son nouvel album le 25 mai et aurz pour titre Book Of The Dead sur le label METAL HEAVEN

Le groupe suédois avec Urban Breed (ex-Tad Morose, Pyramaze) au chant sort son nouvel album le 26 avril :

BLOODBOUND, the Swedish melodic, heavy metal band featuring members from TAD MOROSE, MORGANA LEFAY, PYRAMAZE and STREET TALK has unveiled the cover art for its upcoming third full-length album, "Tabula Rasa".

"Tabula Rasa" will be released by Blistering Records in Europe on April 26 and in North America on April 21. Marquee/Avalon has set a March 25 street date for the Japanese market.

J'ai mis la news car il y a des intéressés mais à titre perso j'avoue que je préfèrerais de loin réentendre Urban Breed dans un pur groupe, j'ai rien contre Bloodbound mais ça reste un combo tellement banal au fond...
