30 ans après leur premier album, son successeur est en préparation :

U.S. traditional metal act Trauma signed on with Pure Steel Records. Formed in 1981, the San Francisco natives released the debut album "Scratch and Scream" in 1984 through Shrapnel Records. Now, 30 years later the band will issue its sophomore, yet untitled, release with a new 10 song album.

All songs were produced by the band. More news on the release is expected soon. The current lineup for Trauma is:

Donny Hillier (ex-Black Sunday Dream) - vocals
Kurt Fry (ex-Heist, ex-Mechanizm) - guitars
Kris Gustofson (ex-St. Elmos Fire, ex-Mechanizm, ex-Moon Dog Mane, ex-Dunmore, ex-Threat) - drums
Marcel Eaton (ex-Serpent & Sarrah) - bass

C'est l'ex groupe de Cliff Burton. j'avais acheté à l'époque de sa sortie leur premier album qui est pas mal du tout. il vient de ressortir en version remasterisée avec des bonus. J'écouterai le nouveau avec intérêt.

Ils changent de bassiste, le nouveau s'appelle Steve Robello (Dublin Death Patrol).

Le groupe a recruté Greg Christian, l'ancien bassiste de Testament, pour un nouvel album en mai.

TRAUMA, best known as the band that Cliff Burton played with prior to hooking up with METALLICA, has signed an exclusive global distribution deal with The Orchard/Sony. The group's new album, titled "As The World Dies", will be released on May 11.

With an eye on the past but focused on the future, "As The World Dies", produced by guitarist Joe Fraulob, is certain to be a landmark third album, staying true to TRAUMA's signature sound that came before but with a very modern edge.

TRAUMA, formed in 1980, is the band responsible for the much-sought-after classic '80s album "Scratch And Scream", featuring killer cuts like "The Day All Hell Broke Loose" and "Lay Low". Cofounder/vocalist Donny Hillier and longtime TRAUMA drummer Kris Gustofson have put together a monstrous lineup of amazing players. Guitarist Joe Fraulob is a former member of DANZIG; Steve Robello plays guitar in DUBLIN DEATH PATROL (the Bay Area supergroup formed by the singers of EXODUS and TESTAMENT), and was formerly with the group HEIST; bassist Greg Christian, the newest addition to TRAUMA, was a member of TESTAMENT.

"As The World Dies" consists of 10 tracks:

Pas mal a voir la musique parce que a l écoute de leur morceau le terme hyper faiblard est très gentil.

Il a une voix très effacée qui aurait fait un malheur lors de la période faste de la NWOBHM...suffirait de pourrir un peu plus le son pour fait authentique et ça serait un groupe culte
