Ghost : nouvel album Meliora

New magazine, first interview about the upcoming album. New single will be released before Sweden rock festival(3-6 June). Papa III will be performing during that festival. Little new material (1-2 songs?) will be played on all upcoming festival dates during this summer.

4 new song names:

“Devils church”
“He is” (Demo song from 2007)
“Majesty”
“Cirice”

They will try and record 2 new covers before Sweden rock festival and the next album will be darker, industrial post-apocalyptic theme with more guitar.Papa 3 will be the new singer, he will not play any instruments, but he will dance on stage

Plus de guitare ok, plus sombre ok mais surtout que la production soit meilleure que celle du précédent.

Aucun problème sur leur deux albums, ça me convient parfaitement. Le tout en espérant qu'il soit bon, c'est l'essentiel.

J'ai rien à redire sur la production de "Opus Eponymous" mais concernant "Infestissumam", c'est un peu une autre histoire ; le son sature rapidement, et ça m'avait donné l'impression que le groupe prenait aussi part à la Loudness War...

Pas de problème non plus avec la prod, par contre le manque de guitare sur le 2ème album m'avait gonflé. Je préfère nettement le 1er.

According to HardDriveRadio.com, Swedish occult rockers GHOST have set "Meliora" (Latin for "better") as the title of their third album, due on August 21. The follow-up to 2013's "Infestissumam" was helmed by Klas Åhlund, a prolific songwriter, producer and guitarist who is also a member of the Swedish rock band TEDDYBEARS, and was mixed by Andy Wallace (SLAYER, NIRVANA, SEPULTURA, LINKIN PARK, GUNS N' ROSES). Songtitles set to appear on the GHOST CD include "From The Pinnacle To The Pit", "Majesty", "Devil Church", "He Is" and the expected first single, "Cirice", which is tentatively due at the end of May or in early June.

Mouais, ça semble être un titre encore facile à retenir mais je le trouve pas spécialement convaincant pour autant.
A ré-écouter, en tout cas c'est dans la lignée du précédent album en peut être plus mélodique.

j'ai réécouté en matant le clip, la chanson passe mieux, mais ça reste quand même vachement léger... à comparer au premier album qui est lui-même limite pop, eh eh.
