Scottish pirate act Alestorm has entered LSD-Studios in Germany with producer Lasse Lammert to record the fourth studio album to be entitled "Sunset on the Golden Age." The album is targeted for release in summer of 2014 via Napalm Records.
The update on the band's Facebook Page reads: "Today, the next chapter in the Alestorm tale begins! The band has just arrived at Lasse Lammert's LSD-Studio in Lübeck, Germany, to record their 4th full-length album, which will be titled 'Sunset on the Golden Age.'
'This is gonna blow all your expectations as to what an Alestorm album is all about' comments Christopher Bowes (vocals/keytar). 'Over the past couple of years we've been writing non-stop, and we've come up with a ton of badass material. Some of this stuff is catchiest pirate party anthems you've ever heard, with choruses that'll make you want to raise a pint of rum up high and sing your guts out. And for the fans of the epic stuff, we've got some songs that hit the 10-minute mark, with lyrical themes about historical events and crazy mythological madness. It's gonna rule!'
"Expect more updates and drunkenness over the coming months, and a release through Napalm Records sometime in the early summer!"
R.I.P Ronnie James Dio !

Quand je vois les clips de chez Napalm Records et les groupes récents signés par ce label, je comprends mieux pourquoi Falkenbach s'est barré pour rejoindre Prophecy Records.
Scottish folk/power metallers ALESTORM will release their fifth full-length album, titled "No Grave But The Sea", on May 26 via Napalm Records.
Says the band: "Oh wow! It's a new ALESTORM album! I hope all of you fellow humans and dogs like it; we think it's pretty gosh darn okay! It's also our first album to feature our grandiose guitarist Máté Bodor who brings his tasty and delicious solos and rifftacular riffing into the mix.
"This is the place in the press release where we would usually tell you this album is darker and heavier than our previous works, but that's probably not true. It is, however, full of epic songs about pirates, drinking, and pseudoscientific cryptogeography. I'm sure y'all will enjoy those things just as much as we do."
