German blues/classic rockers Zodiac have announced a brand new album, scheduled to be released in September via Napalm Records. At the same time the band will be hitting the road for an album release tour.
The band on the new album / tour: “As our US tour has been canceled due to some visa issues, we decided to take the time and write some new songs. Soon we had a couple of songs and were sure that the material is good enough for a new record. The new album will be more diverse as the previous ones and it will be a reflection of all the musical influences we have as a band. An album about the love for music!
Furthermore we will play a record release tour and will record our first live LP during that tour. So you guys have the chance to hear you scream on that one.More updates about the new record and the tour will follow in the next couple of weeks / months on our homepage and Facebook!”

on the 17th of April we’re gonna release the first Zodiac Live LP/CD. It's called "Road Tapes Vol. 1" and was recorded during the last headlining tour in fall 2014 by our good friend and live engineer Florian Steppke. He captured the raw live sound of the band and Martin Meinschäfer was once again responsible for the mixing/mastering. It's available on vinyl (various colors) and digisleeve CD with a special vinyl look CD.
Once again we can offer you a nice clear vinyl edition (limited to 200) + an original tour poster and the limited digisleeve CD in our webstore!

Just returned home from successful shows together with Monster Truck, we have further good ZODIAC news to bring you…
On July 29th, 2016 the brand-new, 4th ZODIAC studio album ”Grain Of Soul“ will be released worldwide via Napalm Records.
The album was recorded, mixed and produced by Arne Neurand (Guano Apes, Subway To Sally, The Intersphere, Revolverheld, etc.) at Horus Sound Studio in Hannover, Germany.
The mastering duties were handled by Grammy Award decorated Jean-Pierre Chalbos (Gojira, Kavinsky, etc.) at La Source Mastering in Paris, France.

oui j'avais découvert ce groupe à ce moment là, et du coup acheté leur album "A bit of devil". Vraiment de l'excellent blues/rock. Vraiment dommage ce split. On connait la raison?

Unfortunately we don’t have good news for you to start off 2017. Due to personal issues within the band, we’ve decided to close the chapter ZODIAC. We would like to say THANK YOU, to all of you. We had a ton of memorable shows in the last 5 years and we met so many cool people, who gave us their support. It was a really hard decision for us, but we will keep up the musical activities in a different constellation. So we are looking forward to see you guys again and we will keep you posted! - ZODIAC"
Je viens d'acheter le dernier album, Grain of Soul (sorti en 2016), est c'est assez décevant, ça me fait penser à du SOUNDGARDEN en version mièvre. Un tube potentiel (Get Out), et du très moyen, sans le côté plus blues et hard des débuts.
Ils sont de retour, avec un nouveau bassiste. Reprise des concerts en février 2019.

After the break-up two years ago, we ran into each other, had a good talk and we sort of refused to sign the divorcement papers!
It just felt right to go back to the rehearsal room and to play the tunes we love.
And of course we've missed YOU.
As you can see on the picture we have a new guy on Bass. His name is Hendrik and he is a great player and a really nice guy.
Ruben will continue his musical life with his new band Bad Bone Beast. We wish him all the best. Thanks Ruben!
Now we can't wait to get back on stage. The first show will be at the Pitcher - Rock'n'Roll Headquarter Düsseldorf on Febuary the 2nd and ticket sales will start tomorrow at 12pm.
