Manowar, groupe ultime du true metal, d'ailleurs ce sont eux qui inventé le terme, alors un peu de respect SVP, d'ailleurs j'apprécie tous leurs albums, même les derniers, c'est un groupe qui ne fait pas de concession, c'est un état d'esprit, une philosophie, malheureusement je n'ai jamais pu les voir en concert, un grand regret pour moi...
Mouais... les ré-enregistrements sont sacrément daubés quand même.
"Lord of Steel" aura été un dernier baroud d'honneur pas trop mal, si on n'exige pas à chaque skeud la qualité d'un "Into..." ou d'un "Sign...".
Le posture "true" est justement devenu une posture qui ne reflète plus l'état d'esprit - et qui finit en im-posture. Triste.

Pour moi leur concert du Earthshaker 2005 aura été le sommet de la grandeur du groupe épique avec le coup des 3 batteurs sur Battle Hymns qui m'a retournée tellement je voyais pas le truc comme ça...et avec une discographie jusqu'alors quasi-irréprochable, depuis ce n'est que déception sur déception... j'ai même plus envie de faire le signe du marteau c'est dire

Honnêtement, même en étant un fan ultime de Manowar faut avouer que sa part en couilles de tous les côtés.
Le guistariste est pitoyable, ils arrivents à faire des reenregistrements avec une qualité sonore pire qu'à l'époque et leur dernier album/ep est infame.
Si c'est une fausse tournée d'adieux, je leur conseil de songer à en faire une vraie car s'ils continuent sur cette lancé Manowar ne sera vu que comme la mauvaise machine à frix qu'elle a été ces dernières années alors que ce groupe était génialissime auparavant.
Bref je suis de plus en plus déçu..

According to The Charlotte Observer, former MANOWAR guitarist Karl Logan has been to five and a half years in prison for possessing child pornography.
Judge Max Cogburn Jr. handed down the sentenced to the 57-year-old musician on Monday, a spokeswoman for the U.S. Attorney’s Office told The Charlotte Observer on Friday.
Logan will remain free until the federal Bureau of Prisons assigns him a lockup, and Cogburn allowed him to self-report to prison, the court spokeswoman said.
Logan was arrested in August 2018 in Charlotte, North Carolina and charged with six counts of third-degree exploitation of a minor. He was jailed after pleading guilty to two child-pornography counts.
Logan's alleged offenses took place between June 18, 2018 and August 2, 2018.
The arrest warrants said Karl was in possession of several videos which depicted girls between the ages of four and 12 years old engaged in a variety of sexual acts with unidentified men. Each video is described in graphic detail, including one scene where a girl age 10-12 "chokes and becomes visibly upset."
The case was transferred to federal court, where a grand jury indicted Logan in 2019 on one count each of receiving and possessing child pornography, according to court documents.

Following guitarist E.V. Martel’s announcement that he will not be available next year, MANOWAR have invited metal shred legend Michael Angelo Batio to perform with them.
Martel announced on social media that he will take a break from touring for personal reasons.
