Ben Scott Gorham joue toujours depuis au moins 10 ans dans la version actuelle et "tribute band officiel" de Thin Lizzy, et Brian Downey a récemment réintégré le groupe, alors que John Sykes en est parti. Il y a un topic sur le line-up actuel dans la partie Revelations. ;)
Brian Robertson poursuit une carrière solo très discrète, il a l'air d'avoir des problèmes de santé, au contraire de Gary Moore (qui avait Downey dans son groupe il y a quelques temps).

Le troisième album Vagabonds Of The Western World est réédité en double CD :
THIN LIZZY's third and final Decca album from 1973 has now been digitally remastered from the original master tapes and expanded with the addition of 23 songs over two CDs in this Deluxe Edition due out November 16th in Canada via Universal Music. The album is currently out in the UK.

Disc One contains the original album plus non-album tracks including the German-only B-side, 'Cruising In The Lizzy Mobile' and radio promo edits of 'Whiskey In The Jar' and 'Randolph's Tango'. Disc Two contains five live tracks, two songs recorded for a John Peel session plus a further six songs recorded in session for the BBC.

Les remixes (par le chanteur de Def Leppard) évoqués précédemment vont sortir en janvier, il ne s'agit pas de rééditions classiques, faut donc voir ce que ça donne. Chaque album remixé contient un deuxième CD avec des bonus, et Live and Dangerous bénéficie également d'une DVD (qui n'est pas la vidéo officielle du même nom).
Irish hard rock icons THIN LIZZY are release deluxe, expanded versions of three classic albums - Jailbreak, Johnny The Fox and Live And Dangerous - on January 24th in the UK. les 2 premiers sont sortis, les autres pas encore vu :mouais:
J etais en train de refaire ma collec Lizzy en CD (et la finir avec Bad Rep que j'ai jamais chope) et voila qu'il faut que je la revende :grr:
Les remix et rough mix sont un peu de remplissage quand même :beurk:

Pour en revenir au sondage, j'ai voté Renegade mais je suis très étonné par les résultats. 40% pour Thunder c'est étrange. Ca prouve que nous sommes ici sur un forum vraiment Metal. J'imaginais que c'est un album comme Black Rose qui aurait le plus de vote.

Bien d'accord avec toi. Thunder and Lightning est loin d'être l'abum le plus intéressant de THIN LIZZY. Mais c'est le plus heavy ... Les votants ont-ils écouté Jailbreak, Johnny The Fox ou Black Rose ?

Don't Believe A Word (slow version) est déjà connue par Gary MOORE (sur son 1er album solo ou le live de 2003). THIN LIZZY le jouait également en version lente sur la tournée 1983 (cf Live Life de 1983), et en version batarde lente/rapide sur les tournées de 1981 et 1982.

Arf c'est vrai désolé, c'est un tort de ma part, quand je fusionne je ne préviens pas car à force d'en faire j'ai la flemme de faire un MP en plus. :oops: :D
Ce qui peut être chiant pour l'auteur surtout si le topic est fusionné dans une autre rubrique du forum comme dans le cas présent, en effet.

Il faudrait un système qui envoie automatiquement une notification par mail à l'auteur du topic pour lui signaler la fusion, ça se trouve ça existe comme plugin...

En attendant t'as plus qu'à lire le topic... et écouter Live and Dangerous et Black Rose. :) Je plussoie mes camarades de la page précédente.

C'est pas grave, j'ai cru que Rodger était passé par là :D

Quand je vois les dates de sortie des albums, je me dis qu'il y a peu de chance pour que ca me plaise ceci dit, les années 70 c'est pas du tout mon mug de café, autant niveau son que compo... on verra bien :)

Non pas plus que ca, enfin Deep Purple un titre ou deux. je suis allé voir Status Quo y'a pas longtemps, je me suis quand même un peu emmerdé, ca joue, mais rien à faire c'est pas mon truc...

Je ne suis pas objectif, les années 70 étant ma décennie préférée, mais il y a des groupes et albums exceptionnels, à connaître absolument, pas pour ne pas mourir bête, mais pour le plaisir énorme que tu peux en retirer :
