"CD1 will be the straight remaster (including the original non-album track 'Not Responsible' - which was later fitted onto the picture disc vinyl edition).

CD2 is an odds and ends disc with some tracks from Knebworth (which is already released as a stand-alone package), the b-side 'Son Of Alerik' and more from the instrumental jam out-takes (which is where Alerik originated).

CD3 will be the old Interview Disc Polydor issued as a promo for the album back in late 1984. This was from exclusive interviews done by the late Phil Easton."

"Come taste the band" est excellent également.

8. Black Night (Original Single Version) [3:27]
9. Studio Chat 1 [0:33]
10. Speed King (Piano Version) [4:15]
11. Studio Chat 2 [0:27]
12. Cry Free (Roger Glover Remix) [3:21]
13. Studio Chat 3 [0:05]
14. Jam Stew (Unreleased Instrumental) [2:31]
15. Studio Chat 4 [0:40]
16. Flight of the Rat (Roger Glover Remix) [7:55]
17. Studio Chat 5 [0:31]
18. Speed King (Roger Glover Remix) [5:53]
19. Studio Chat 6 [0:23]
20. Black Night (Unedited Roger Glover Remix) [4:47]

On February 5, Friday Music will release the deluxe edition of DEEP PURPLE's "Slaves And Masters", the only album featuring former RAINBOW/FANDANGO singer Joe Lynn Turner. Now remastered, the LP features two rare bonus tracks: "Slow Down Sister" (B-side of "Love Conquers All" 12-inch and 45 rpm single) and the hard-to-find 45 rpm single edit of "Love Conquers All", as well as including rare RCA label memorabilia.

A press release states: "Featuring the Mark V DEEP PURPLE lineup of Ritchie Blackmore, Ian Paice, Jon Lord, Roger Glover and new addition hard rocker Joe Lynn Turner, 'Slaves And Masters' was a nice way to kick in a new decade with this one time configuration. Most notably hard-rocking tracks like 'Fire In The Basement', 'King Of Dreams' and the international hit power ballad 'Love Conquers All' helped make this a much-played album at rock radio from day one of its release. Even through all their well-documented changes over the years, DEEP PURPLE as reigning kings of hard rock and heavy metal shined through on this album. It’s easy to hear why... the familiarity of the band was still there with its guitar shredding maestro Ritchie Blackmore, the powerful drum sound of Ian Paice, Jon Lord's iconic keyboard work, Roger Glover's slammin' bass, and Joe Lynn Turner's hard rockin’ vocals, 'Slaves And Masters' was a winning affair."

"Slaves And Masters" deluxe edition track listing:

01. King Of Dreams
02. The Cut Runs Deep
03. Fire In The Basement
04. Truth Hurts
05. Breakfast In Bed
06. Love Conquers All
07. Fortuneteller
08. Too Much Is Not Enough
09. Wicked Ways
10. Slow Down Sister *
11. Love Conquers All (single edit) *

* Bonus tracks

:hum: :hum: :hum:

On April 3, 1975 the Mk III line-up of DEEP PURPLE — guitarist Ritchie Blackmore, frontman David Coverdale, bassist/vocalist Glenn Hughes, keyboard player Jon Lord and drummer Ian Paice — performed at the Liebenauer ice rink, located on the outskirts of mountain-cradled Graz, Austria's second largest city after Vienna.

Enthused by DEEP PURPLE's arrival in town, the local press dubbed the concert "das Rockereignis des Jahres [the rock event of the year]." And it was — in more ways than one.

Previously unreleased in its entirety, "Graz 1975" — will be released in North America on September 23 on earMUSIC / Eagle Rock Entertainment.

After Graz, DEEP PURPLE would play just two more shows — in Saarbrücken, Germany and Paris, France — before Blackmore left to form his new band, RAINBOW. The remaining band members would regroup quickly with American guitarist Tommy Bolin in tow.

In order to preserve Blackmore's final run of Mk III concerts for posterity, DEEP PURPLE's managers had brought THE ROLLING STONES mobile recording studio over to mainland Europe. And what a show it was! "Graz 1975" is absolutely electrifying and exhilarating. Indeed, it has long been regarded as the holy grail of concert recordings among Mk III connoisseurs. A performance that has never been available in its entirety until now.

Kicking off with a blazing performance of "Burn", "Graz 1975" is a wild eight-track ride, firing on all pistons. Blackmore plays with controlled brutality. The vocal interplay between Coverdale and Hughes has never sounded so good. And, of course, stalwarts Lord and Paice give it a good kicking — and then some.

The track listing, naturally, is weighted heavily in favor of Mk III recordings, with just two songs from DEEP PURPLE's previous incarnation with Ian Gillan on vocals and Roger Glover on bass: the iconic "Smoke On The Water" and the almost-as-iconic "Space Truckin'". Still, it's true to say that, from beginning to end, "Graz 1975" showcases DEEP PURPLE Mk III at the absolute top — and also, ironically, at the end — of their game.

After almost 40 years the concert is still captivating. It is the perfect example that, for DEEP PURPLE, there is no need for extravagant video projections or expensive fire shows to play a unique and fascinating gig. All they need is their music. It is the love and passion for their music that makes every single show a unique experience.

"Graz 1975" track listing:

01. Burn
02. Stormbringer
03. The Gypsy
04. Lady Double Dealer
05. Mistreated
06. Smoke On The Water
07. You Fool No One
08. Space Truckin'
