HEAVEN & HELL sont bien partis pour faire le grand chelem des festivals.

Copenhagen, Denmark-based metal/hardcore act PILGRIMZ has been confirmed for next year's Waldrock festival, set to take place June 13, 2009 in Burgum, The Netherlands. Tickets go on sale on January 17.

The festival billing is shaping up as follows:

"Shake-A-Feather", the latest video from PILGRIMZ, can be viewed below. The song comes off the group's debut album, "Boar Riders", which was released in Europe on June 23 via I Scream Records. The CD was recorded with producer Jacob Hansen (HATESPHERE, MNEMIC, ILLDISPOSED, INVOCATOR, RAUNCHY, MAROON) at Hansen studios in Ribe, Denmark and was mixed by Tue Madsen at his Antfarm studios (THE HAUNTED, SICK OF IT ALL, HEAVEN SHALL BURN, CATARACT). Artwork duties were handled by R. Black (MISFITS, BJÖRK).

California rockers PAPA ROACH have been confirmed for this year's Waldrock festival, set to take place June 13, 2009 in Burgum, The Netherlands. Tickets go on sale on January 17.

According to The Pulse of Radio, PAPA ROACH has set March 24 as the release date for the band's fifth major label album, "Metamorphosis". The disc was originally scheduled to come out last fall but got pushed back to the spring. The Pulse of Radio hears that this is the strongest PAPA ROACH outing yet, and singer Jacoby Shaddix explained why he thinks the group kicked themselves up another notch. "I think for us it's like we're treading on some new territory, and the confidence in our playing and the conviction in our playing and just the overall passion towards what we do is what makes that come across," he said. "Right now we're firing on all cylinders, I mean everybody in the band is really excited about what's going on."

"Metamorphosis" will follow up 2006's "The Paramour Sessions". The first single is called "Lifeline".

PAPA ROACH will join AVENGED SEVENFOLD and BUCKCHERRY on the road beginning January 28 in West Valley City, Utah.

Former PAPA ROACH drummer Dave Buckner filed a lawsuit against the band last month, claiming that he has not been receiving his fair share of the group's earnings. PAPA ROACH permanently split with Buckner at the beginning of 2008, following a year-long period in which he went to rehab twice. He was replaced by ex-UNWRITTEN LAW drummer Tony Palermo.
