Belgian black metallers ENTHRONED will release their eighth album, "Pentagrammaton", in March via Regain Records.

The album will be available for the first time at the "Pentagrammaton Release Celebration" on March 5, 2010 at Le Nouveau Magasin 4 in Brussels.

Commented the band: "We are very satisfied of how'Pentagrammaton' turned out; the final result of the album is exactly what we wanted to achieve: an album which can be best situated between our last offering 'Tetra Karcist' and ENTHRONED cult album 'Towards The Skullthrone Of Satan', yet adding some new elements as usual.

"The whole concept of 'Pentagrammaton' deals with direct approach: the sound is warmer than 'Tetra Karcist', natural drums, heavy guitars for a lyrical concept based on lived experiences and facts, somehow something very personal, let's say!"

ENTHRONED recently parted ways with Nguaroth (guitar) and Ahephaim (drums) and replaced them with Neraath and Garghuf (ex-GORGOROTH), respectively.

ENTHRONED's most recent album, "Tetra Karcist", was released in September 2007 via Napalm Records. The CD was recorded under the guidance of Harris Johns (SODOM, KREATOR, VOIVOD).. Guest musicians on the CD include Ashmedi (MELECHESH), MkM (ANTAEUS), Verderf (ex-VERLOREN, OUROBOUROS), Harris Johns and Dungeon (ICONOCLASM).

Belgium's leading black metal force ENTHRONED returns with a new studio album entitled "Sovereigns". The follow-up to 2012's critically acclaimed "Obsidium" is scheduled for a April 15 release via Agonia Records.

Emerging from the Belgian underground in 1993, Enthroned have stood as one of black metal’s enduring forces, their legacy defined by uncompromising vision and ritualistic intensity. Over three decades, the band has refined their craft into an artform of esoteric violence and transcendence.

Their new opus, Ashspawn, embodies six years of ritual creation and total artistic unity. Written in collaboration with occult author Gilles de Laval, the album charts a descent into spiritual death and a transformative rebirth, framed by a lyrical architecture of demonology, ritual praxis, and metaphysical calculus.

Musically, it is Enthroned’s most ferocious and personal work to date: a relentless fusion of blast beats, oppressive mid-tempos, and solos oscillating between chaos and virtuosity. Tracks such as “Raviasamin”, “Ashspawn”, and “Ashen Advocacy” channel this doctrine into ritual soundscapes that convulse between violent catharsis and crushing introspection.

Every note and silence are deliberate; a weapon forged for transformation rather than entertainment. Ashspawn is not an echo of past glories, but a culmination of Enthroned’s essence: dark, authentic, and absolute.
