Symphonic metal act Kamelot have signed on with Napalm Records. The band entered the studio in mid-2014 to begin recording their follow-up to the highly acclaimed chart topping album "Silverthorn"

The new album will make Kamelot history, as it will be released worldwide (excl. Asia ) on Napalm Records/Universal and Napalm Records/ADA-Warner, as an exclusive licensing deal through the band's Kameot Music LLC this April/May 2015. In support of this highly anticipated release, Kamelot will hit the road starting in March for select UK shows, followed by a massive North America Tour this Spring, with special guests Dragonforce (UK) (dates and venues can be found at this location). Select Summer Festivals will follow and the band returns to Europe in September/October for their biggest headliner tour to date.

Symphonic Metal Masters KAMELOT return after 2 years of touring the globe and 12 months of intense writing and recording. In mid-2014 the band entered the studio to begin recording their follow-up to the highly acclaimed chart topping album Silverthorn. The new album titled HAVEN will make KAMELOT history as it will be released worldwide (excl. Asia) on Napalm Records/Universal and Napalm Records/ADA/Warner as an exclusive licensing deal through the band's KAMELOT MUSIC LLC on May 5, 2015 (North America) and May 8, 2015 (Europe and rest of the world) and will showcase KAMELOT at their finest!
Today the breathtaking artwork, track listing and official release dates have been unveiled. HAVEN will be available to pre-order in multiple exclusive and limited bundle packages at the Napalm Records American & European Webstore - starting Thursday, February 26, 2015.

It's time to step into the cinematic, epic and emotionally dynamic world of HAVEN. The new album features all the signature elements of KAMELOT but the band steps out to add new and modern elements along with bringing some amazing emotions that harken to the band's earlier days. KAMELOT’s artsy music is chock full of symbolism relating to how the band feels about the world and the current state of civilization.

"The HAVEN album has an undertone of a world going insane. There is a grey cloud that is forming over our world. We are here to find that silver lining with an album that is both dark and melancholy yet uplifting and giving the listener a HAVEN in a world gone mad. We are really proud of the song elements and diversity on HAVEN” adds guitarist Thomas Youngblood. “The songs run the gambit of dark and melancholy to uplifting and melodic elements.” states vocalist Tommy Karevik.
"Haven has an aggressive edge to it that is the representation of the band as The Revolutionary Change in the storyline," Kamelot's Oliver Palotai tells us.

Produced by acclaimed music producer Sascha Paeth and mastered by Jacob Hansen, HAVEN is a massive album that is sure to please critics and fans alike. Additional guests include Alissa White-Gluz (Arch Enemy), Troy Donockley (Nightwish) and Charlotte Wessels (Delain). The breath-taking cover and artwork was created by Stefan Heilemann and additional art/layout was done by Gustavo Sazes.

Je n'ai toujours pas écouté le précédent...

Reçu hier et écouté une fois sans en retenir grand chose, par contre j'ai ressorti Silverthorn depuis quelques jours et cet album est vraiment excellent ce qui n'était pas flagrant lors des premières écoutes à sa sortie

Je suis encore en train de découvrir le précédent, 'tain ils s'arrêtent jamais.

Les titres postés sont chouettes, surtout Insomnia, même s'ils ont fait mieux.

Il y a 3 morceaux sur 12 de très bons (plages 8,9 &10) les autres s'écoutent bien ...
Je vais l'essayer avec mes 2 passagères demain en covoiturage ça va les changer de pokora ou stromae

Le dernier album de Kamelot est vraiment cool ! Je ne m'en lasse pas en tout cas.
En parlant de Kamelot, j'ai un ami qui est tellement fan qu'il a envie de créer un blog via ce site pour parler ce groupe ainsi que du métal en général. Il a envie de raconter les concerts auxquels il va et il souhaite partager ses expériences aux internautes pour qu'ils puissent découvrir cette musique.

Et sinon, j'ai hâte de voir Kamelot en concert à Paris en septembre!

J'apprécie aussi beaucoup cet album Toujours agréable à réécouter, d'accord avec McBrain

Dommage que leur tournée ne passe plus dans le sud-ouest, il a y quelques années j'avais même fait des déplacements à toulouse et montpellier. J'ai l'impression qu'ils ne font plus que Paris ou lyon ou strasbourg maintenant

Le sujet de la chanson est intéressant, par contre la musique un peu moyenne je trouve :
