New music is coming for the new Guns N Roses album as Axl Rose and Slash have come together to make 2016 a big year for the legendary band.
Latest news have revealed that while the new album rumors have circled for a while now, it seems Guns N Roses is indeed coming together after Axl Rose and Slash reconciliation news. ConsequenceOfSound revealed that reunification of Guns N Roses band members and that finally, everything is okay between the two.
"It was probably way overdue, you know," Slash explained according to the report. "But it's.... you know, it's very cool at this point. You know, let some of that, sort of, negative... dispel some of that negative stuff that was going on for so long."
The feud between the two began as Slash left Guns N Roses in 1996, and according to the same report, "his relationship with Rose had been tense ever since."
"In 2010, Rose told fans that Slash was a 'clueless, loud mouthed, arrogant c**t.' A year later, Rose chose to sit out of the band's induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, saying, 'the endless amount of revisionism and fantasies ... are misguided attempts to distract from our efforts with our current lineup'," it added.
Moving past the feud, Guns N Roses new album is speculated to be released sometime in 2016, after the same media updated fans about the progress of tracks and return of the band members into the recording studio. The same media also reported that "Guns N Roses' current guitarist Richard Fortus declared that 2016 will be 'a big year' for the band."
"He stopped short of providing any specifics - however, when pressed whether or not he is the only guitarist in the band at the moment, he insinuated that not to be the case," continued the report.
To date, there isn't a specific release date for the new album of Guns N Roses but at least fans know that come 2016, there will be at least some update if not new single out in the open.
According to Dish Nation, a reunion tour of the classic lineup of GUNS N' ROSES is "close to being revealed." The band will supposedly headline several major festivals in Europe and U.S. before embarking on a worldwide headlining tour to mark GN'R's 30th anniversary.

MÖTLEY CRÜE and SIXX: A.M. bassist Nikki Sixx says that "everybody knows" the classic lineup of GUNS N' ROSES is reforming for a world tour.
Asked by a fan on Twitter if GUNS N' ROSES should do a reunion tour, Sixx responded: "THEY ARE. EVERYBODY KNOWS."
One of Sixx's bandmates in SIXX: A.M. is DJ Ashba, who played guitar for GUNS N' ROSES for six years before announcing his departure this past July.
Meanwhile, Vicky Hamilton, who is best known for managing the early careers of GUNS N' ROSES and POISON, in addition to serving as a management consultant for MÖTLEY CRÜE, revealed in a Facebook post that she was "texting with [former GUNS N' ROSES guitarist] Slash," who apparently told her that the rumored GUNS N' ROSES tour "isn't happening."
A report from Dish Nation on Tuesday claimed that a reunion tour of the classic GUNS N' ROSES is "close to being revealed," with the band allegedly headlining several major festivals in Europe and the U.S. before embarking on a worldwide tour to mark its 30th anniversary. A source explained: "Slash and Axl have verbally agreed to get things together again and reform the original band. The live shows is where they can show the world what they had and also make the greatest earnings."
The source added: "Promoters are quietly working away to land opportunities. Details of the reunion are expected to leak out in the next few days. Everyone is expecting huge demand for tickets, but the boys are very humble and are not sure what to expect."
According to other reports, the band has already been approached about playing shows in Australia, Portugal and Sweden.
Rumors about a reunion have been heating up ever since the summer, when Slash revealed that he and singer Axl Rose had repaired their relationship after nearly 20 years of estrangement.
The longtime feud between Slash and Rose has been seen for some time as the main stumbling block to a reunion of the original lineup, which has not performed together in 24 years.
Several members have recently left the current lineup of GUNS N' ROSES, which features Rose as the sole original member. The band has not performed live since last year.
The band's Twitter account has posted several cryptic messages lately, furthering talk of a reunion.

Speculation reached a fever pitch last week that GUNS N' ROSES was close to announcing a reunion tour, but now a report has emerged indicating that the band lineup for the trek may not be exactly what fans had in mind. According to The Pulse Of Radio, the tour will feature founding members Axl Rose on vocals, Slash on lead guitar and Duff McKagan on bass — but that's all for the original roster.
Instead of also seeing original guitarist Izzy Stradlin and drummer Steven Adler — or even "Use Your Illusion"-era drummer Matt Sorum — fans may instead get current guitarist Richard Fortus and drummer Frank Ferrer joining the big three, as well as longtime keyboard player Dizzy Reed.
