Medvedev raconte qu'il fut un DJ hard rock dans les années 70/80

According to RT.com, Russia’s president Dmitry Medvedev, known for his love of rock music, has caught up with the top brass of the country’s rock’n’roll scene. Medvedev and the musicians enjoyed a relaxed evening at Moscow’s Rythm-and-Blues Café, a jazz club owned by famous rocker ANDREY MAKAREVICH.

They also grabbed some beers in a Moscow bar to chat about their favorite music and what is going on in the country.

Medvedev confessed he is more addicted to working than music, while the musicians cracked a joke suggesting that it was Deep Purple songs that led Medvedev to presidency.

Medvedev remarked: “It was in the 1970s and 1980s. We listened to various music, but mostly hard rock. I was even a DJ at school discos. Oddly enough, we even managed to dance to DEEP PURPLE, SLADE and LED ZEPPELIN.”

En tout cas, dans ma série "croisade métallique", il y a au moins un ambassadeur de France qui est devenu fan de Metallica, un futur préfet qui apprécie le thrash, un conseiller à la Cour des Comptes qui a osé aller voir Rammstein... Bon, d'accord, c'est de l'administration mais on ne sait jamais...

Bon évidemment c'est un assistant ou conseiller qui lui a soufflé l'idée, mais ça reste fun.

In his remarks to Finnish president Sauli Niinistö, Obama praised Finland's heavy metal culture, saying (see video below): "I do wanna point out that Finland has perhaps the most heavy metal bands in the world per capita and also ranks high on good governance. I don't know if there's any correlation there."

Heavy metal and hard rock music continues to thrive in Finland, where bands like CHILDREN OF BODOM regularly top the chart with their single and full-length releases.

According to Slate, Finland has the most heavy metal bands per capita in the world. While Sweden and Norway have only 27 heavy metal bands per 100,000 inhabitants, Finland boasts double as much, 54 bands per 100,000.

Some claim that Finland is "the only country in the world where metal is mainstream," and people actually study Finnish and Norwegian to better understand heavy metal music.
