Dread Sovereign (doom metal, membres de Primordial)

Roadburn Festival is colossally chuffed to unveil the first track, ‘Thirteen Clergy To The Flames’ from Pray To The Devil In Man, the forthcoming debut 12″ from Dread Sovereign – the born-dead brainchild of Primordial frontman Nemtheanga, ably backed by SOL Dubh (Primordial) on drums and Bones (Zom/Wizards) on guitar.

Not intended to re-invent the wheel, just to give it a good kicking in true old evil metal fashion, the blueprint is rough, raw old school doom / metal which reeks of Venom, Saint Vitus and Cirith Ungol combined with touches of late 80s early sepulchral black metal.

Dread Sovereign will play their first ever live show at this year’s Roadburn Festival on Friday, April 19th at Het Patronaat.

In conjunction with their Roadburn appearance, Roadburn Records will release a limited vinyl run of Prey To The Devil In Man, which will be availlable from Thursday, April 18th, the first day of the festival.

C'est arrangé, le lien qu'ils filaient avait un truc en trop.

Je suis en train de l'écouter, quelques éléments rappellent Primordial, cependant l'ensemble est moins épique et plus 'hypnotique'.

Une galette bien remplie mais qui me paraît receler d'excellents moments, le tout emmené par un excellent Alan !
