New England metallers UNEARTH have cancelled their appearance at this year's installment of the Summer Breeze festival, set to take place August 13-15, 2009 in Dinkelsbühl, Germany. No reason was given for the cancellation.

As announced previously the SUMMER BREEZE is about to sell out. The last 1.000 tickets are now available in our online shop at www.silverdust-shop.de and will be sold approximately within the next couple of days as well. Despite this there will be left only small contingents at various ticket shops. Really, now is the time to be quick or to be dead...

Entre le Summer Breeze et le Wacken, j'ai du mal à comprendre comment des festivals sans tête d'affiche arrivent à afficher complet aussi longtemps à l'avance

C'était l'occasion de se rencontrer... The SUMMER BREEZE 2009 is sold out. Just recently announced 1.000 tickets left in our shop have gone completely, considering all cancellations. Some odd ticket masters may have a small contingent left which will be sold out within the next few days approx. This way we'd like to say thank you to our guests and look forward to a hilarious metal party in August!

Ban, ben perso j'ai pas les moyens de capter une place maintenant, d'autant plus que je sais pas si ce sera bon niveau taf. Donc je verrai un peu avant le fest, si je suis dispo et si j'arrive à capter une place. Planning the SUMMER BREEZE means again and again things do not work out the way we please. Therefore we have to announce even a couple of band cancellations. Firstly DAATH have cancelled all European shows for the month of August including their SUMMER BREEZE appearance.
Secondly the entire SUMMER SLAUGHTER tour of which we have booked the entire billing of SUFFOCATION, SUICIDE SILENCE, NECROPHAGIST and THE FACELESS for he BREEZE, has been cancelled. Of course we have tried to have this package play the BREEZE even though. Talking about SUFFOCATION and THE FACELESS chances aren’t bad, really. But SUFFOCATION and NECROPHAGIST we could not do anything about.
Here is what NECROPHAGIST stated regarding:
"We regret to inform you that NECROPHAGIST won’t be able to play this year’s SUMMER BREEZE Open Air. The timeframe in which the festival takes place was blocked to finish up the writing process for our new album, the follow up to 2004´s "Epitaph". There won’t be any live activities after this year’s "Summer Slaughter" tour, which will see NECROPHAGIST headline across North America, so that we can fully concentrate on writing and recording later in the year.
After the release in 2010, the European continent will be our main focus and we will be hitting all the cities we neglected in the past couple of years.
And if everything works out the way we want it to, we will be seeing all of you at SUMMER BREEZE Open Air next year!
We wish we had better news to tell. But we are quite positive to be able to deliver replacements within the next couple of days and weeks. We are working high speed to complete our billing shortly.

j'avoue que j'hésite depuis longtemps à faire les deux...mais je crois que finalement je vais me contenter du SB. Financièrement j'ai besoin de mettre quelques ronds de côté et faire deux fests à la suite, ça risque de me couter trop de tunes...vraiment dégouté mais bon, pour une fois je vais être raisonnable.
