Iron Maiden will play an exclusive show in Italy at the Villa Manin nr Udine as part of their Final Frontier World Tour on Aug 17. Bruce is planning a BruceAir* excursion from London's Gatwick Airport., so keep checking this website for details which will be announced as soon as possible.
The majestic ensemble of Villa Manin, located in Codroipo in the province of Udine, is one of the most important artistic Italian monuments. Commissioned in the 17th century by Ludovico Manin to celebrate the wealth and power of the Manin family, it was the family's country house. At the end of the 18th century, under the reign of the last doge of Venice, Ludovico Manin (1789-1898), Napoleon Bonaparte chose this regal residence as the General Headquarters of the French troops stationed here in 1797 during the Italian campaign. The new order he was later to impose on the whole of Europe was planned here. It was in the rooms of the Doge's residence that the important negotiations which were to culminate in the "Treaty of Campoformido" (October 17, 1797) were held, thus marking the end of the Republic of Venice to the benefit of the Hapsburg Empire. What a perfect location for Maiden's triumphant return to Italy in their first show there since Bologna in 2008!

En effet je viens de voir ça... Je suis d'accord que le cadre est peut être beau et historique mais bon, 69€ un billet ça fait cher pour Maiden quand même...

Bon d'après Zegut, Maiden ne sera pas à nîmes (sur ce coup, je veux bien le croire, je suis d'accord qu'il racontes de la merde la plupart du temps à annoncer des rumeurs, mais quand c'est "annulé" il a presque toujours raison)

Le tonton Zézé, il commence à nous casser les couilles avec ses rumeurs à la con. C'est bien gentil d'annoncer un concert puis son annulation, mais à la place il ferait mieux de la fermer et d'attendre que ce soit officiel.

Il est vraiment temps que Zégut annule son blog et ses rumeurs avec ses sources en bois, et laisse les professionnels faire leurs annonces.

Pour Zegut faut peut-être pas exagérer, qu'il annonce des dates de tournées à l'emporte pièce ces derniers mois c'est une chose et je suis d'accord que sur ce point là il saoule mais pour le reste ça reste quand même un grand monsieur pour ce qui est de la promotion du rock et du metal en France et il a toujours gardé la foi en cette musique contrairement à des girouettes comme Manoeuvre.

Ah mais je suis d'accord sur la sincérité de la passion du personnage.
Simplement sa notoriété ne devrait pas lui donner plus de droits pour faire courir toutes ces rumeurs d'une manière générale qui n'aboutissent souvent pas . Cela finit justement par jouer contre lui et contre sa réputation acquise avec les années, en plus de générer de faux espoirs.

ce n'étais pas une rumeur pour ce concert de Nîmes... La date était entrain de se monter cependant l'organisateur a du laisser tomber par rapport à la commission de sécurité qui donne les autorisations ... Maiden à trop de matos derrière la scène en gros donc soit ils agrandissent les backstage (mais dans ce cas la ... moins de places donc moins de sous!!) ou comme metallica backstage sous la scene mais pour Maiden impossible!

Pareil que Flo, je ne remet pas en cause sa passion. Mais ces derniers mois il part en vrille et sa notoriété ne lui donne pas le droit de balancer n'importe quoi.
Et la date se montait peut être, mais tant que rien n'est définitif, on annonce pas une date formelle, qui est relayée par tous les metalheads que je connais, qui m'ont dit "mais c'est Zegut qui l'a dit, alors c'est bon hein". Du coup il se décribilise, bien dommage.

Le 30/07 ils ne seront pas à Nimes, mais à Dublin pour donner le coup d'envoi de leur big tournée mondiale.

Tickets go on sale on Friday, April 16 at 9:00 a.m, with a special pre-sale for members of the IRON MAIDEN fan club starting on Tuesday, April 13 at 9:00 a.m.
The tour takes its name from IRON MAIDEN's forthcoming studio album, "The Final Frontier", which is expected be released in the late summer of this year.
Following shows in USA and Canada, the "Final Frontier World Tour" will travel to Europe for a few selected major festival and stadium shows, with the band planning to continue to many other countries in 2011.
"The Final Frontier" was recorded at Compass Point Studios in Nassau, Bahamas with Kevin Shirley at the helm.
Shirley previously worked on the last three MAIDEN albums 2000's "Brave New World", 2003's "Dance of Death" and 2006's "A Matter of Life and Death".
The next IRON MAIDEN album will be the band's fifteenth studio record, and they face a challenge to follow up "A Matter of Life and Death", which was received well critically and saw the group play the whole album on tour.
IRON MAIDEN will kick off a North American tour with very special guests DREAM THEATER in Dallas, Texas, on June 9 and finish in Washington D.C. on July 20, making it MAIDEN's most extensive North American tour in many years.

Ben même si on pouvait echanger, je vois pas comment les Heaven and hell vont assurer leurs dates, avec un Dio malade ou en convalescence... Faut m'expliquer pourquoi ils continuent à annoncer plein de dates, si le risque de tout annuler est si grand ?
