Despite Nuclear Blast Records' announcement to the contrary, Sweden's SOILWORK has **NOT** been confirmed as the headliner of the X-mas Festivals tour, which is scheduled to kick off early December. A representative for SOILWORK's Sweden-based booking agency, The Agency Group AB, told BLABBERMOUTH.NET earlier today, SOILWORK "was approached" about taking part in the tour but was "unable to do it." It is not presently clear who will headline the trek following the cancellation of the tour's original headliners SIX FEET UNDER (also scheduled to appear are GOREFEST, BELPHEGOR, TRAIL OF TEARS and DARZAMAT).

TRAIL OF TEARS 1996-2006

It is with great regret that we announce that Jonathan, Kjell, Runar and Kjetil yesterday (November 28th, 2006) left Trail of Tears. The decision was taken with immediate effect, and thus the band does not longer excist. Trail of Tears will therefore have to cancel all forthcoming shows, including the Xmas Metalfest tour dates in December, and we sincerely appologize for any inconvenience this might lead to. We would like to thank everybody that has supported the band from the start 10 years ago, and of course especially our loyal fans all over the world. There was no longer the neccessary desire and energy left in the band to continue. And everything has an end.

J'ai vu sur que apparemment ca aller peut être être annuler mais prenez cette info avec des pincettes, la date de Strabourg est annulée en tout cas. Et la fnac propose le remboursement des places suite a l'annulation de la tete 'affiche

Excellent ! Comme ça, ça m'évitera de voir ce formidable groupe qu'est Gorefest participer à cette mascarade. La tête d'affiche, ça doit être eux ou personne d'autre vu les groupes présents...
Donc une annulation, ça me va!

Ben je disais que annulation du X-Mass = pas de Gorefest pendant 25 minutes à 18h30. Donc pour moi, c'est top!

C'est bien toute la tournée qui est annulée visiblement.

This year's X-mas Festivals European tour, which was scheduled to include appearances by GOREFEST, BELPHEGOR, TRAIL OF TEARS, DARZAMAT and PROSTITUTE DISFIGUREMENT, has been cancelled. The trek was originally slated to kick off December 8 in Berlin, Germany and run through December 19 in Paris, France.
