Petit post qui n'interessera que 3-4 personnes ici. J'ai chopé le dernier Body Count et je pense que je ne peux être que d'utile conseil que de vous le déconseiller. Du moins écoutez le avant de l'acheter, ça vous évitera de mauvaises surprises.
En effet on est vraiment loin du BC de la grande époque, à mon avis ils ont tout dit avec le premier album et surtout Born Dead.
Là on sent l'album baclé, les guitares et la batterie sont complètement en retrait et c'est peu de le dire. Par contre la voix, on entend que ça! On a du gros rap américain avec un fond sonore de guitares comme instru derrière en gros.
J'aimerais bien quand même les voir en live mais sur album je pense qu'ils ne valent plus rien.

Ben disons que les deux albums sont différents, le premier est plus root plus vindicatif et à l'époque très original, born dead c'est de la grosse artillerie dans la gueule avec grosse prod, moi j'adore!

Ecouté il y a quelques jours... Mouais... Body Count, c'est déjà pas trop ma came à la base, mais là... Body Count et Born Dead sont écoutables, bien qu'il y ait du déchet. Le nouvel album est assez insupportable.

A noter que Juan Garcia de Agent Steel a rejoint le groupe.
I was surprised to see Agent Steel axe-slicer extraordinaire, Juan Garcia backstage with Body Count and beefing up their sound on stage. I saw him a while later heading to the Blue Stage to watch Ice-T. He said this was his first show with the group. They brought him into the fold to replace deceased guitarist, D-Roc. He also mentioned he was responsible for the band getting a record contract. One of the gripes I hear concerning Body Count is their lack of skill. Anyone who has heard Agent Steel or Killing Machine (with David Ellefson) know this dude has chops. Expect him to bring more speed and technical brilliance to BC.

Ca m'a fait bien marrer cette vidéo, ça fait plaisir de voir du second degré chez Ice T même s'il s'est bien embourgeoisé le coco depuis qu'il joue dans les séries qui passent sur TF1
D'ailleurs ça m'a l'air d'être sa bourgeoise, la dame siliconée qui l'empêche de jouer à la XBox ?
Et puis reprendre du ST c'est une preuve de bon goût. Et les paroles plus dans l'air du temps, c'est bien vu.
Ca m'a donné envie d'aller les voir au Hellfest en tout cas !

Le groupe a signé chez Century Media pour le prochain album.
BODY COUNT, the metal band fronted by hip-hop legend, actor and director Ice-T, has inked a worldwide deal with Century Media Records. The group has entered the studio with producer Will Putney (MISS MAY I, UPON A BURNING BODY) to begin recording its new album for a late 2016 release. Putney also helmed BODY COUNT's last effort, "Manslaughter", which received critical acclaim for its sheer abrasiveness and unabashed brutality.
Ice-T states: "It's cool to be a member of the Century Label Group alongside such a lot of well-established metal artists.
"With our last album, 'Manslaughter', we tested the waters and got a great response from the fans and critics. Now it's time to go kill it and make a more aggressive album and keep the BODY COUNT style intact.
"Will Putney is like a member of the band and has an excellent ear. He's a great producer because he captures the true essence of our band's sound. Once we are done writing the song, it's his job to step in and make it sound better. He helps move the record in the right direction. We're anticipating working with him again.
"Once the record's done, we're going to shoot a lot of music videos and perform spot-dates on certain tests, etc."

The first single from "Bloodlust", a song called "No Lives Matter", will make its online debut on February 17.

yep bien bon ce disque je n'avais pas réécouté du Body Count depuis les 2 premiers albums qui font partie de la B.O. de ma jeunesse... après le revival Suicidal Tendencies ça fait du bien de rajeunir de 25 ans
