merci beaucoupAccording to RockOverdose.gr, Sons Of A Dream Music will re-release WARLORD's "Deliver Us" to coincide with the album's 30th anniversary.
"Deliver Us" underwent copious restoration and remastering in order to be presented in its intended form. For the first time in almost 30 years, Sons Of A Dream Music had access to the original quarter-inch tape masters and will present the album in its entirety (including the often overlooked, speed-infused epic "Mrs. Victoria"), unlike the original U.S. release. Not stopping at the audio quality, the now-classic cover also went through an extensive restoration and will be presented in all its canvas-quality glory.
From artwork, to sound, to liner notes (including the original liner notes in addition to the new ones), the album will be presented as it was envisioned by William J. Tsamis and Mark Zonder, who also oversaw the entire process, step by step.
"Deliver Us" will be re-released on September 30, initially via iTunes, in a special mastered for iTunes digital LP format, AmazonMP3, eMusic, GooglePlay, Zune Marketplace and other major e-tailers worldwide. CD as well as LP releases will follow soon thereafter.
The expanded reissue of "Deliver Us" marks the first in a series of WARLORD releases that will bring the glory of the band's music to the 21st century, making all their music available once again and allowing a new generation of fans to be exposed to the haunting melodies of Tsamis and thundering drumming of Zonder.
Fully following Tsamis and Zonder's wishes, Sons Of A Dream Music will price all releases in all formats competitively, allowing fans with limited budget access to these otherwise unreachable until now epic works.
Sons Of A Dream Music, listening to fans requests, is currently working to secure the best possible physical distribution in order to make the CDs and LPs available to as many fans as possible.
Following the worldwide re-release of WARLORD's classic "Deliver Us" album, the Sons of A Dream Music label has announced that the band's "Lost And Lonely Days / Aliens" EP from 1984 will also receive the same remastering treatment and will be available worldwide from iTunes and AmazonMP3 on October 20. A CD/LP reissue will follow at a later date. The release will also contain"a surprise," according to WARLORD manager Phoebus R. Dokos. In addition, the cover has been redesigned and will feature the updated WARLORD "W."
As previously reported, WARLORD, featuring guitarist William J. Tsamis and drummer Mark S. Zonder (FATES WARNING) will perform at the Keep It True XVI festival, set to take place April 19-20, 2013 at Tauberfrankenhalle in Lauda-Koenigshofen, Germany. This will mark the group's first appearance in eleven years — having last performed in 2002 in Itzehoe, Germany and at the Wacken Open Air festival. There will also be a brand new WARLORD album released in 2013.
WARLORD's last album, "Rising Out Of The Ashes", was released in July 2002 via Atrheia/Drakkar. The CD featured Tsamis and Zonder alongside HAMMERFALL vocalist Joacim Cans.
LORDIAN GUARD is the unique inspired Christian Medieval Epic Metal majesty of William J Tsamis. Melodic, yet powerful, "Anthology" includes both albums of LORDIAN GUARD, "Lordian Guard" and "Sinners In The Hands Of An Angry God" (originally released from Hellion Records), plus "Behold A Pale Horse" single, "Invaders" (advance mix) and "Lady Vidonne", a ballad by William J Tsamis & Vidonne Sayre-Riemenschneider.
Here, you will also find, for first time officially released, the demo recordings of “LORDIAN WINDS” project, with William J Tsamis (guitars, keyboards), Rick Anderson (vocals) and Dave Watry (bass), including: My Name Is Man, Stygian Passage, In The Name Of God, Dark Civilization.
Double CD, remastered with new artwork and 16-pages booklet.
Limited to 1000 hand numbered copies.
