Sniff, aucune date à l'ouest, alors que pour les 2 dernières tournées on avait eu droit à Rennes & Nantes

Leur (nouveau) bassiste ne participera pas à la tournée.

Bassist Nalley Påhlsson of Swedish progressive/experimental metallers THERION will sit out the band's upcoming European headlining tour. According to Påhlsson, the reason for him not being able to take part in the trek is threefold. He says, "1) I'm alone with my two children and it's not possible for me to be away for over two months. 2) I'm right now studying and I have to complete my education this autumn. 3) I have lately had a drinking problem, and to be on tour is not the best thing for me right now."

He adds, "I'm doing well at home, feeling good and everything is under control and that's the way I'm gonna keep it!

"If everything goes as planned, I'm gonna stay a member of THERION playing on the forthcoming albums and hopefully I will also be able to show up and play live in the future."

Le remplaçant à la basse sera le guitariste leader de feu Grip Inc, Waldemar Sorychta. C'est pour le moins étonnant, qu'est-ce qu'il vient faire là?

Putain ca craint severe au Mexique...
Ils sont obligés d'annuler les shows mecicains à cause de la situation qui empire du fait des cartels de drogue... La sécurité des groupes et des lives n'est plus assurée.

Au venezuela, c'est à cause du promoteur qui est en train de faire faillite qu'ils doivent annuler.

"The tour schedule has changed: The shows in Caracas (Venezuela), Chihuahua and Puebla (both Mexico) have to be cancelled and the show in Santiago de Chile has moved to the Teatro Caupolican. In Europe there will be an additional show — on the 11th of December THERION will play in Istanbul, at Refresh the Venue (which is really named like that).

"We are very sad to announce that the shows in Chihuahua and Puebla in Mexico have been cancelled. The situation with the drug cartels is becoming worse and worse in the north and the local authorities strongly advise against playing concerts in Chihuahua (and, of course, Monterray which also has been rumored we would be playing), so the national promoter in Mexico has decided to cancel Chihuahua as the safety of the band, crew and fans cannot be guaranteed at this point. The Puebla festival has also been cancelled due to some sort of drug cartel-related civil unrest problems. There seems to be no risk for the remaining shows in Mexico and the band hope that there will be other shows to replace the cancelled ones in other parts of the country.

"Seems like the world is going crazy at the moment, as the Caracas show in Venezuela will be cancelled as well. Local promoter is having economic problems and didn't want to risk fucking everything up from what I've heard. So better to cancel and try to replace it with another show in some other country than to risk standing there with thousands of fans buying tickets and maybe making a long journey from another city just to end up with no show happening.

"We hope we will be able to do Venezuela some time in the future; we were really looking forward to playing there."

Le passage en France se rapproche.
On peut trouver facilement sur le net les setlist de la tournée sud-américaine. En fait peu de morceaux du dernier album (deux seulement). On remarque aussi que cette fois, pas de reprise d'un autre groupe en fin de concert. A moins qu'ils aient réservé cela pour l'Europe ?
L'enchainement des dates en Europe est impressionnant. C'est non stop du 29 octobre au 15 novembre. Soit 18 jours sans pose !
Avec les déplacements, difficile de croire qu'ils seront toujours au top, surtout à la fin.
Bon moi j'ai de la chance, je serai à Paris ... donc au début ....

Dommage toutefois qu'ils ne font pas de reprise, comme ils l'avaient très bien fait avec Iron Fist.

La Verion de Thor etait excellente aussi.
J'avais adoré leur date a lyon en 2007. Du coup j'y retourne.
Avec un truc aussi théâtrale j'espère. Mais je fais confiance à l'ami Snowy pour ca.
