Q: I am curious to ask you about your singing; I mean, in every album you sound so pissed off, so how you can be like this when you are in a studio booth in front of a mic?

A: "Well, I think this is because I know how to perform. When I am writing music I can hear it before I actually put it in any kind of audio recording. I can hear how it should be done. And I think this why me and D.D. make such a good writing team. When D.D. presents something to me, I have to marry this with vocals and melodies. Once I have heard it, I know how I am going to present it. I am the right partner to finish his songs and what he starts. So, it’s not about being pissed off; it’s about understanding presentation. I think this is something I have been always able to do; I can hear the notes and I can push myself to go higher or lower. I know that sometimes my squeaking voice is not sweet and not always pleasant but it’s the only thing I can do and I think it fits the music really good (laughs)."

Q: Yep, it does. So, is it always D.D. who starts the songs?

A: "Yeah, it starts developing through him and I am getting copies from the very beginning and I am putting comments, then Dave and D.D. works on them. Then Ron steps in and then I step in since I am the last person to finish. I am always the second one to know how it starts. First it’s me and D.D., then it’s D.D. with other guys and finally it’s me and the rest of the band. So, it’s a very good formula for us and it gives me a more time to work. Since, my stuff takes the longer since you don’t want to repeat yourself and be a joke by releasing the same stuff with the previous album. I like to compete with myself."
