Nouvelle sortie :

San Francisco's Orchid has announced the release of "The Zodiac Sessions" this coming November 15th, 2013 via Nuclear Blast.

"The Zodiac Sessions" consists of the band's early works – 2009's "Through The Devil's Doorway" EP as well as the debut full-length "Capricorn" (2011).

For "The Zodiac Sessions," both releases have been completely remastered and put on one CD in a digipak featuring all new cover art, created by the band's singer, Theo Mindell.

On vinyl both parts of "The Zodiac Sessions" will be released separately – on 10“ ("Through The Devil's Doorway") and on 2LP 12“ ("Capricorn") and will be made available in various colors.

Boah, ils s'en cachent pas, et quitte à faire de la repompe, au moins il le font avec de bonnes compos.

Par contre j'ai entendu de divers orgas (surtout US) qu'ils se la jouait bien princesses backstage et pas toujours respecteux de ceux qui les font jouer. A confirmer mais revenu plusieurs fois aux oreilles.

j'aime pas du tout c'est vraiment trop pompé note pour note (entendu quasi tel quel le reiff de "into the void" ça m'a fait pèter un câble^^) pour être respectueux envers les pères du heavy metal……gros foutage de gueule ce combo et en + s'ils se la jouent……hop à la benne!!!!!!!

San Francisco-based classic doom metallers, Orchid, will be releasing a brand new EP, named Sign Of The Witch. The band's fourth EP is slated for a May 22nd release and will contain four brand new tracks.

Commented guitarist Mark Thomas Baker: "It's been a few years since we've recorded and we've all gotten so much better at playing and working together. We're excited to let people hear what we're up to these days."

Doom metallers Orchid have released the official music video for the song "Helicopters" off of the band's most recent EP, Sign Of The Witch, released this year with 4 brand new tracks. With this video, the band wants to send out a big thank you to all their fans worldwide. Enjoy!

The band commented: "Orchid wanted to give a HUGE thank you to all our friends and supporters who made this last European tour such a great experience. We thought long and hard about a video for the song 'Helicopters' that's on our Sign Of The Witch EP... What to do...? How to visually tell a story about what the song means to us... But in the end, documenting the tour and playing live for everyone who came out to see us last summer was what we really felt most strongly about.
