11 new tracks plus one re-recording of a Blitzkrieg classic are scheduled for the new album which will be due for release in 2013 and will feature the recent Blitzkrieg line up of :

Release Date for `A Time of Changes`
Blitzkrieg-`A Time of Changes` 30th Anniversary -Edition
Metal Nation Records - MNR 014
Release Date : November 2nd 2015
2015 sees the 35th anniversary of the band Blitzkrieg who came into existence in 1980. Although their debut single (on Neat records) was released in 1981 , 'Buried Alive b/s Blitzkrieg' it was not till 1985 that the band recorded their debut album as vocalist Brian Ross was involved with his other band , Satan recording and touring their debut classic ' Court In The Act ' .
30 years on because of catalogue sale and resale 'A Time Of Changes ' is lost in the vaults of corporate hell and may never see the light of day again. That said the current line up of Blitzkrieg wanted this album available to fans so they have completely rerecorded the album and added two bonus tracks . 'Too Wild To Tame' which should have made the LP back in 1980 but for time restrictions of vinyl then would not fit !
It was eventually recorded by another Neat records stablemate , Avenger,
The second bonus track has never been released before though written at the time . 'Jealous Love' was the last song penned by the Ross/Sirroto partnership which fueled the early version of the band .
All the classic tracks are here too on this album including many still played live today which included the Metallica covered 'Blitzkrieg' track .
It also features guess twin guitar appearances on 'Pull The Trigger' by Satan's Russ Tippins and Steve Ramsey.
Great new artwork has been commissioned for the new version too by South American artist Ivan Chacon fronting a new 12 page booklet full of sleeve notes by Brian Ross , lyrics and new photos from the past and present line up..
The album will be release in Europe by the band's long time label Metal Nation Records . It will also be release in Japan by Spiritual Beast and various labels in South America to coincide with the band's 7 date six country tour there in November 2015. There will also be a vinyl version of the album on High Roller Records by German based label , High Roller Records.
The band continue their 2015 'Time Of Changes ' 30th Anniversary tour having already headlined festivals in he UK ( Brofest / Hard Rock Hell ) , Slovenia ( Metal Days) and appeared at the prestigious Germany festival Headbangers Open Air. The South American dates will be the last for this year.

Today, legendary NWOBHM band Blitzkrieg release "I Am His Voice," the brand new and long-awaited single from the veterans. Produced and mixed by Nick Jennison and mastered by by Simon Eferny (Paradise Lost, Napalm Death etc), the new offering from the British band is the best classic heavy metal has to offer. Singer Brian Ross (also from Satan fame) is in top shape!
As a "side B" to this digital single, the fans can listen to a live version of "Pull The Trigger", the mythical song that Blitzkrieg released in their 1985 split 7" with Venom. The live version was recorded just before Covid hit the world.
British metal veterans, Blitzkrieg, will release their new, self-titled album on September 6 via Mighty Music on vinyl (black, green and red vinyl versions available, each limited to 200 copies), CD & digital. Pre-order the album here, and find a visualizer for the first single, "The Spider", below.
Unrepentantly flying the flag for Classic British Metal since the release of their 1981 Blitzkrieg/Buried Alive demo, Blitzkrieg were a pivotal influence on countless heavy metal bands for decades to come: most notably, Metallica, who released a cover of the band’s eponymous track “Blitzkrieg” both on the Garage Inc compilation album, and as a B-side on their 1984 single “Creeping Death”.
Formed in Leicester in late 1980 by lead vocalist Brian Ross (who remains at the helm of the band to this day), the band would take a four-year hiatus when Ross left to join NWOBHM legends Satan, recording their classic album Court In The Act (Roadrunner) and touring extensively, before reuniting with bassist Mick Moore to form Avenger.
1985 saw the release of Blitzkrieg’s long-awaited debut album A Time Of Changes on legendary British label Neat Records, which remains a cult classic to this day. Further success would follow with 1991’s Ten Years Of Blitzkrieg (Roadrunner) and a three-album deal in 1995 with Neat Records.
The band continued to champion classic metal throughout the turbulent 2000s, with albums like 2002’s Absolute Power (Hellion) and 2007’s Theatre Of The Damned (Armageddon), the latter of which was co-produced by Saxon frontman Biff Byford after Blitzkrieg opened for Saxon on their UK tour the year prior. All the while, the band remained a mainstay on the international festival circuit, with appearances at Wacken, Headbangers Open Air, Keep It True, Hard Rock Hell and countless others, along with regular tours in four continents.
Returning from a hiatus in the wake of their critically acclaimed releases Back From Hell and Judge Not, Blitzkrieg are as vital, powerful and ferocious as the day they were founded over 40 years ago. Long time members Alan Ross (son of Brian Ross) and powerhouse drummer Matt Graham are joined by bassist Liam Ferguson and virtuoso guitarist and producer Nick Jennison. Their new album “Blitzkrieg” is set for release in summer 2024 via Mighty Music, and if early previews are to be believed, is their best work since 1985.
