Je viens de choper le dernier album que maintenant et c'est clair qu'il est très bon Mais bon, même si le chanteur fais bien son job, il lui manque un timbre original comme l'ancien
Le menu "gigography" c'est énorme quand même, ca déchire la côtelette d'agneau

me le suis pris pour finir, il est pas mal... assez old school, le chant passe bien... un peu dommage que les guitares soient pas plus mordantes et certaines compos sont un peu en deçà. Mais bon il fait pas tâche dans la disco du groupe et ça se laisse écouter avec grand plaisir

^ Moi j'aime bien aussi, mais contrairement à toi, je le trouve pas assez old-school. Pourtant, c'est ce que laissait présager les morceaux en écoute sur leur myspace... Le son est un poil trop moderne, ça perd en agressivité et ça racle pas assez. Et c'est vraiment très dommage, parce que ça riffe sa race !!! Avec une prod plus raw ça aurait été quasi parfait.
Le chant est très cool, mais pas forcément en phase avec la zic ; il est limite trop bon le chanteur en fait, et puis... trop classique. C'est pas Flemming Ronsdorf, quoi...
Mais c'est effectivement un super album, et pas la bouse immonde que je redoutais. Album que je conseille sans problème aux amateurs d'Artillery ; faut juste pas trop se braquer sur le changement de chanteur, la touch "Artillery" est bien là au niveau de la zic.

Ah, ça me fait plaisir de voir ça...sans connaître Artillery (comme moi), c'est un album de thrash énormissime, et pour les fans d'Artillery, ça reste un album excellent quand même Et c'est clair que ça riffe sa race comme dit Gaëtan

On a le temps de le voir venir, mais voici déjà quelque infos sur le prochain Artillery:
Danish thrash metal veterans ARTILLERY have set "6" as the working title of their forthcoming album, due on March 21, 2011 via Metal Mind Productions. The CD will be recorded at Medley Studios in Copenhagen starting on November 29 with producer Søren Andersen (guitar player in Oliver Weers' solo band). 11 songs will be laid down for the effort, including "Ain't Giving In", "Concealed In The Dark", "If Only Death Was An Illusion", "Monster" and "Warrior Blood". The album will be available in at least three different formats featuring no less than four bonus tracks: "The Eternal War", "Show Your Hate", "The Almighty" (all re-recorded versions of tracks from the band's first album, "Fear Of Tomorrow") and "Computer God" (a cover version of the song by BLACK SABBATH).

Bonne idée, même si j'aurais aimé qu'ils les réenregistrent avec l'ancien chanteur.

Ils l'ont jouée au Bang Your Head d'ailleurs.

Si le chant ne te choque pas, tu peux y aller, y a du riff et des solos qui défouraillent bien comme avant.
J'étais vraiment déçu par le chant en live et aussi sur ce CD (par rapport à l'ancien chanteur, y a pas de comparaison possible) et pourtant je l'ai quand même bien aimé cet album. Preuve que les compos sont bonnes!

Danish thrash metal veterans ARTILLERY have completed work on their sixth album, "My Blood", at Medley Studios in Copenhagen for a March 21 European release via Metal Mind Productions (April 5 in the U.S. through MVD and March 9 in Japan via King Records). 14 songs were laid down during the sessions — 10 brand new tracks, a remake of "Ain't Giving In" (from 1992's "Mind Factory" demo) and three bonus tracks which are all new versions of timeless classics from the 1985 album "Fear Of Tomorrow" ("The Eternal War", "The Almighty" and "Show Your Hate"). The cover artwork was created by well-known Polish graphic designer Graal, who has previously worked with VITAL REMANS, SINISTER, SOLITUDE AETURNUS and BULLDOZER. Graal was also responsible for the covers of ARTILLERY's "Through The Years" box and "When Death Comes".

Je viens de me le prendre (avec le précédent) et je ne suis pas déçu, le chant en particulier est ok et passe bien, même si le premier chanteur collait mieux à la musique d'Artillery. Pour le reste, l'usine à riffs des frères Stutzer fonctionne toujours aussi bien et les compos sont efficaces, ça défouraille bien. Un excellent album de thrash metal, pour moi largement supérieur aux derniers Onslaught ou Annihilator par exemple.
Un bon successeur de B.A.C.K qui était le dernier album que j'avais acheté d'eux, en 1999 déjà.

pas encore pris celui là.
Le précédent avait d'excellents riffs, mais le chant m'horripilait.
Du coup, pas pressé pour le choper ce "my blood"...

j'ai très accroché à ce nouvel album (j'étais déjà assez fan du précédant "When Death Comes")
les riff sont géniaux, les morceaux sont bien fait, avec des breaks sympa et j'aime plutôt bien le chant et puis il y a toujours ce côté mélodique que j'apprécie
mon album de thrash pour 2011 (pour l'instant!)

Mouarf. Il est très bien le chant, même si c'est pas du tout LE chant d'Artillery. Que ça colle pas aux vieux classiques en live, je suis assez d'accord (encore que c'est toujours allé en s'améliorant depuis la reformation). Mais ça colle parfaitement aux morceaux de l'album. Album que je trouve très très bon (après, est-ce vraiment ce qu'on attend d'Artillery ?), où ça riffe et ça tabasse sec !!
Donc pour le prochain, si c'est aussi bon ça m'ira très bien ; même si je m'en bats pas mal la race en fait.
Puis sinon, la pochette est bien pourrie.

Ayant bien écouté les 2 derniers maintenant, ce My Blood est quand même bien mieux que When death comes, les compos sont plus typées Artillery, on dirait qu'ils étaient un peu rouillé pour le précédent et que maintenant ils ont retrouvé leurs marques !
Le chant est mieux maitrisé aussi.

Year 2012 marks the 30th anniversary of ARTILLERY. A celebration party will be held on May 4 at Kings And Lions in Copenhagen, Denmark, with some special guests and prizes. The gig at Lions And Barrels will also be ARTILLERY's last Danish gig with drummer and founding member Carsten Nielsen, who has decided to leave the band for personal reasons.
Commente Nielsen: "For personal reasons, I have chosen to leave the Danish thrash metal band ARTILLERY. It's something I've thought about for a long time and I have already informed the guys in the band and I can announce that the last shows I'm playing with ARTILLERY will be in South America. And to all the nice people I have met during my time in ARTILLERY, I will just say a huge thank you to; I will never forget the good reception and response I have received.
"After the last show, I will take a little break and then I'll probably go back to my roots and try to find some guys in the Copenhagen area who want to play some good old-fashioned punk rock together with me..."

Sortie en novembre, avec leur nouveau chanteur et batteur.
In a recent interview, Danish thrash metal veterans Artillery have revealed that their new album will be titled Legions. The release date in Europe is set for November 22nd via Metal Blade Records. Guitarist Michael Stützer also revealed some song titles set to appear on the album which include "Chill My Bones", "God Feather", "Legions", "Wardrum Heartbeat", "Global Flatline" and "Anno Requiem".
The band finished the new album at the beginning of August in Medley Studio with producer Soren Andersen. It will also be their first album to feature the newest members, drummer Josua Madsen and singer Michael Bastholm Dahl.
The digipack version of the album will include two bonus tracks: re-recorded versions of songs that originally appeared on Artillery's 1985 debut Fear Of Tomorrow.
