Anathema ne vend pas !
Et quel label pour les "travailler" correctement !
Pour tout le monde c'est un groupe de METAL ... mais quand on ecoute leur musique depuis Alternative, ce n'est pas vraiment du metal ....
Trop calme pour les bourrin, catégorisé Metal pour ceux qui serait succeptible d'aimer ....pas de chanteuse pour les djeunz ... :diable:

il est sorti je l'ai acheté ce matin à courtrai . super dvd même mieux que le autre . dany et vincent sont comme d'habitude géants et des titres absents du premier y sont : sleepless, a dying wish......
il faut tous se mobiliser pour qu'ils trouvent un label et sortent ce nouveau cd . il y a peu de groupes comme anathema aussi sincères et touchants dans leur musique . alors MOBILISATION générale pour acheter ce dvd et ce cd . Face à la quantité de produits stéréotypés en tout genre , il faut défendre des groupes comme anathema et comme faire à part acheter ce dvd génial .

courage a priori pour le moment c'est un import je l'ai eu en belgique .

Le groupe va bientôt jouer en Jordanie et une nouvelle chanson sera bientôt disponible en téléchargement sur leur site.

"In the presence of troubles and conflict ongoing around the world, we feel as one with the ordinary people everwhere — those who wish only to live their lives in peace, with enough food on the table and enough love in their hearts. And so we travel with open hearts and with a positive message.

"Choose love.

"In addition, a second free download track: 'A Simple Mistake' will be released on this site in the next couple of days. This song and 'Everything' will definately be played in Jordan and all our forthcoming concerts. These songs represent the next chapter of ANATHEMA songwriting. Songs with a message of hope."

J'aime beaucoup, mais y'a un ptit coté Muse assez bizarre, et c'est vrai que ça fait Radiohead a fond ...
Mais comme Anathema sont capable de faire des chansons tellement différentes les unes des autres, on va se dire que les autres seront mieux :D

ben moi je trouve que c'est un bon etat d'esprit de mettre les titres en ligne en laissant le choix de payer ou pas.ça montre qu'ils sont loin d'être metallica...
et puis, si vous voulez mon avis, ils ont assez de tunes pour monter leur propre label et chercher des distributeurs, ils se feraient sûrement plus de tunes...non, pour moi ça demontre un etat d'esprit tres cool et ils montent encore dans mon estime
PS : je ne trouve pas que "a fine day to exit" sonne pop, il est dans la même lignée que judgement avec un peu de piano en plus c'est tout...

Moi j'aime beaucoup le travail sur les atmosphères, tout comme l'autre nouveau morceau sur la page précédente, ils arrivent encore à se renouveler et c'est tant mieux (pour ma part du moins).

Bah d'un autre coté anathema est de plus en plus chiant....et oui, tout le monde n'a pas le talent du Floyd....

Ca date un peu, mais c'est intéressant et je crois pas que ca avait été posté !
the album is coming along very nicely. we are well aware that for one reason or another, it has taken a long time for anathema to get to this place, but now we are ready. the album tracklist is decided. the rehearsals are going very well.



everything, quite literally, is falling into place.



what i love about this record is the character it seems to have. the songs belong together. there is purpose and focus. and it shines. brightly.



the message is one of hope. of the absolute certainty that there is a better way. there is always a better way. there is always a solution, a purpose. it only remains for us to be open to it. to bring ourselves back into harmony with a larger system.



that harmony begins by bringing ourselves back into balance within ourselves. all the ancient sages and wise people have said it. change starts with the individual.



some of these songs are very exciting, some are a little more melancholy, and some of them are just euphoric. they all celebrate life, and they all have something in common with our previous work, in that they are all very much from the heart, and they are saturated with emotion. this is the greatest record we have ever made. i know it in my heart. all we need do now is find the right engineer/producer and the right studio, and to remain focussed.



to this end, we have decided to hire a house in the country for the first month of next year to 'live' this music before we record. we will play everyday and we will leave no stone unturned in pursuit of brilliance. of a new way to express these feelings.



i have my faith that the universe can bring everything into place for us to make this record into a success. a record that will certainly affect people. i do not wish to sound pretentious, but i know it will change lives. this is what music does. it moves people in a way no other form of art does.



because our inspiration is of a pure source, and because our intentions are genuinely to reach people and open them up to new ways of feeling, thinking and healing, i have every faith that whatever we need to make this happen will come to us.
