Finnish heavy metal monsters LORDI have announced the addition of drummer Otus to the group's ranks. Otus, whose name stands for "creature," is the tenth member in the LORDI family tree.
Commented LORDI mainman Mr. Lordi: "We are not really sure who or what he is, he is just … a creature, a thing (otus in Finnish). He is a mixture of a butcher, an executioner, an alien, a lizzard and a zombie. Tough dude. And definitely one of the ugliest members in our family..."
Otus will make his debut during LORDI's European tour, "Europe For Breakfast", which consists of 32 shows in 14 countries. The trek will kick off in St. Petersburg, Russia on November 5 and end in Hannover, Germany on December 19.

Pas mal, il est presque aussi moche qu'un métalleux.
Quant à l'album, après une première impression très fade de déjà vu, finalement après quelques écoutes il y a quelques morceaux qui me sont bien rentrés dans le crane. Notamment "Rock Police" et son clavier overtata à faire passer l'intro de "Rainbow in the Dark" pour du Morbid Angel, enchainé avec "Discoevil" qui met bien dans l'ambiance.
Bon après y'a quand même du déchet sur les 14 titres je trouve, c'est sans doute un peu trop.

Mention spéciale au livret quand même pour cet album, c'est le top du top et effectivement ça reste un album correct avec des bon délires.

Lordi va lui aussi participer en tant que juge à une émission de télé réalité, sur les... chœurs :
According to Esctoday.com, Mr. Lordi, the lead character of the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest winner for Finland, LORDI, has been announced as one of the judges and mentors on the Finnish version of the reality TV format Clash Of The choirs, Kuorosota. His choir comes from his hometown Rovaniemi. The series will air on the Finnish channel 4 from next month.
et effectivement ça reste un album correct avec des bon délires.
