Exodus confirmed as supporting band
King Diamond will be back on tour soon for an extra special event for fans - one not to be missed! As part of the set, the band will be performing the classic 1987 album Abigail in its entirety! The tour will begin on October 29th and runs through December 5th with legendary bay area thrash metal band Exodus as the opening act! The full list of confirmed dates is below. The general on sale for tickets begins Friday, August 7th at 10am ET.

De toute façon en Europe à chaque fois, il se limite à une poignée de dates.
Donc 3 ou 4 fests de moyenne capacité (Bang your head, H.O.A, Alcatrazz), peut être le Wacken (la notion de tête d'affiche est toujours relative chez eux) et peut être 3 ou 4 dates en salle....

Mouais, un mélange d'images en vrac qui collent même pas au son et un ré-enregistrement plutôt qu'un vrai truc, je sais pas si on peut parler de live pour le coup. J'espère que sur le DVD tant attendu on aura pas ce genre de choses.

2 concerts vont être filmés pour un futur DVD/Blu-ray :
Philadelphia and Detroit have been selected as the cities at which King Diamond will film the live shows for the forthcoming DVD/Blu-ray. The massive, multi-camera shoot, will be directed by Denise Korycki (Cannibal Corpse, Killswitch Engage), and will also include additional footage from multiple shows throughout the entire "Abigail in concert 2015" tour. Tickets are on sale now for all shows, so pick them up soon before they sell out!

KING DIAMOND's November 2015 concerts in Philadelphia and Detroit during the "Abigail In Concert 2015" tour were filmed for the band's forthcoming DVD. The massive, multi-camera shoot was directed by Denise Korycki, who has previously worked with CANNIBAL CORPSE and KILLSWITCH ENGAGE).
In a brand new update on KING DIAMOND's Facebook page, the band's singer and namesake wrote: "[KING DIAMOND guitarist] Andy La Rocque and our sound engineer Pontus Norgren have begun work on the sound files from the shows we recorded on the U.S. 2015 'Abigail' tour. Andy said he was surprised by how good it all sounds. I have personally seen a rough cut of the song 'The Possession', which was put together for us as a pre-taster by Denise Korycki who is in charge of the video project, and I can tell you it sounded and looked amazing!
"Everything has taken a little longer than we initially thought it would, but we now also have footage from our 2016 European summer festivals and we're reviewing that as well for inclusion in the DVD set.
"I can't tell you a release date at this moment, but we're definitely sticking our heads full time into this project now.
"Once we have finished work on the DVD, it will be time for writing and recording the next brand new KING DIAMOND studio album.
"2017 will be spent mostly on writing and recording, and we will also try to fit in a few special festival shows, performing the same set as on the 'Abigail' tour. We might even hit a few places we haven't been in a million years.

Bon bah je crois que le live à Wacken 2014 c'est vraiment mort cette fois. 
Mais avec un peu de chances on aura des images de fests européens de cette année.
En tout cas impatient de voir ce live tellement c'était bon cet été!
