Je me l'écoute en boucle, et je m'en lasse pas. J'adore les petites touches à la Judas Priest en fait. Vraiment un must cet album.Après de nombreuses écoutes, je crois que c'est mon préféré des trois premier albums finalement. Enfin bon, j'ai déjà voté pour High'n'Dry, mais si je pouvais changer mon vote je le ferais sans doute.

J'ai voté... Hysteria! Je sais que cet album n'a pas la cote chez les métalleux sérieux (surtout comparativement à son prédécesseur), mais n'empêche que c'est le seul album de DL que j'ai envie de me retaper à l'occasion.

après avoir relus ce topic ,je me suis replongé dans la dico du léopard et ,mon avis n'a pas évolué en 20 ans
On Through the Night ,un bon début , avec High 'n' Dry on passe au choses sérieuses et le chef d'œuvre Pyromania après ça commence à ce gâter ;
Hysteria sauve les meubles après 5 ans d'attente avec armageddon it ,animal et quelques autres ,mais qui ne compensent pas cette attente avec adrenalize on s'enfonce dans une soupe hard us , de la guimauve en guitare , le reste ,je le laisse aux jeunes filles rebel'z en mal de rock.

J'ai ressorti mon Slang il y a peu, je trouve toujours que c'est un album correct avec de bonnes compos. En revanche beaucoup de ballades sirupeuses, "All I Want Is Everything" et surtout "Blood Runs Cold" se détachant du lot. Par contre le "Breathe A Sigh" est carrément insupportable avec ses choeurs à la 2be3

Pour l'anecdote, Phil Collen avait reçu une proposition pour jouer dans... Iron Maiden.

Collen: They asked me to come down and I wasn't really interested. I have known them guys for years. I used to go to school with the original singer Paul Di'Anno, who I have known since I was six. All the guys grew up in the same area as me, they're lovely guys, I love 'em, but it's a different type of music. I was in a glam rock band and now I'm in DEF LEPPARD… which is more up my street."

J'adore les 1ers albums, je comprends pas trop ce qui s'est passé ensuite à partir de Hysteria ça a changé grave !! C'est comme si on leur avait coupé les coucougnettes !!

Bin il paraît qu'il était sacrément depressif mais pas forcement à cause de la gloire et ce qui va avec, mais des trucs qui devaient dater de l'enfance. Apparemment dès qu'il était en tournée ça allait à peu près, mais dès qu'il se retrouvait seul il sombrait ...
Après ma remarque en haut est un peu dure, je ne souhaite la mort à personne, mais je ne peux pas blairer les alcooliques ...

Une faiblesse du corps certainement...on ne choisit pas de tomber dans l'alcoolisme. Certains le deviennent au départ en picolant moins que moi...un peu comme les fumeurs. Certains ont une dépendance beaucoup plus forte, et on besoin de fumer 2 paquets par jour, d'autres tournent à 5 clopes par jour...va comprendre Charles !
