De Martini, Pearcy, Croucier, Blotzer and Cavazo will start working on the next RATT recording early 2014. Only time will tell, it took (10) years for "Infestation".


The band has been in pre production off and on for most of 2013 for the new record, it looks as thou the band has settled on a producer and look forward to a world tour for the bands (30) year anniversary 2014.

RATT drummer Bobby Blotzer will be forced to sit out the three shows the band has scheduled this week because he has not yet fully recovered from the neck surgery he underwent last October. He says: "I just can't risk the possibility of further damage," before adding: "I've never once in my life missed a show, so I'm tripping, to say the least."

He continues: "I was hoping to give you a surprise as to who would be playing in my place, but I can't deliver that surprise as it's not happening. So, see ya on the [Monsters Of Rock] cruise [as the end of March]."

Ratt est revenu il y a quelques temps avec un album génial. C'est dommage que ça soit parti en cacahuètes tout de suite après...

Ajouté à cela j'ai eu plus souvent l'impression de voir passer des extraits live de Pearcy en solo jouant du RATT...
Après c'est vrai qu'ils tournent un peu plus aux USA...

RATT frontman Stephen Pearcy has released the following statement:

"After 30 years creating the band RATT and losing a real brother, Robbin [Crosby, late RATT guitarist], it's time that I personally part ways with the band.

"I am officially done with having anything to do with them due to the constant turmoil, unresolved business, personal attacks/threats in the public forum, and most of all, the disrespect to the fans.

"I'm very content and proud of the legacy and the music I’ve created. This music will live well beyond any of our lifetimes.

"I owe no one anything but a huge heartfelt thank you for coming to the party for the last 30 years.

"With much respect, life goes on and the music I created will continue to be heard for years to come despite the dark clouds that have lingered for far too long.

"I will personally continue to make music and perform live shows."

"To our/my RATT fans and friends... I will say to you guys, I am sorry that I brought you guys into our personal world and turbulation.

"I've been so personally driven to a breaking point with our band being held hostage every year that I've kind of been snapping.

"I wish we were still all four together and doing business as great as we have been doing. Especially last year. This is why it's so nonsensical to me to have this disruption in a business we've built for the last 33 years.

"Reality sits at, Stephen and I have gotten along since his return in '07. Aside from the fact that he basically quits every year. It's been hard to deal with.

"I feel bad that I might have put a dividing line out here, and for that I'm feeling bad about and I, to a certain level, feel the need to apologize to YOU, guys. My words were true, but the words should have stayed in my mind. And again, I state that I was only kidding about this picture thing with Steve, dumb joke.

"When this news popped today, my phone was blowing up all day while I was trying to enjoy an afternoon with friends and I just lost it. I was going to come home and tear into that release line by line. I read your thoughts and realized that it's time to shut the fuck up. As hard as that feels, because we, the four other guys in this band, did nothing to merit this whole behavior from Stephen.

"Thanks for understanding. You guys know I, we love you so much. RATT is my life and I'll live and die fighting for the mothership.

Ratt drummer Bobby Blotzer has posted a message explaining his reasoning behind his new Ratt Experience and why he formed it.

The message reads:

“Hi. I'm going to just kindly clarify something for us all. While I had the right to go out and tour as Ratt, I would not consider that. This is not Ratt, but a chance to go out a tour with complete familiarity in our music for uou, the fans of Ratt and myself humbly. I've put heart, soul, blood and my life into being a lifer in Ratt. I want to play all kinds of tunes that never were even considered by us, well a majority. A lot of ‘radio/ video hits’ always took the front seat, but I felt that we stifled ourselves with a lot of close mindedness for so many kick balls tunes.

“My other ‘Rattners’ in crime have chosen another path. But after 5 years of us not touring I'm bored and I want to play our songs that we all wrote and created. It ain't Ratt ok, but I'm confident after you see my band playing Ratt N Roll music, you'll agree that it kicked your asses, and you walk out with a good buzz on and in your ears when we start rollin up on your town.

“Hopefully a lot of shows ASAP. It's going to take time and a lot of work and open minds. But these guys are great players and super good people. we just got the pics together along with the needed materials to launch. now it's in the booking agencies and promoters hands. Thanks for being there for me after 33 years as the bus driver of Ratt, you can call me ‘The Blotz’ thank you very much!”

RATT RE-INVASION TOUR 2016

From the band that brought some of the most well known rock anthems of the past 35 years and helped popularize the MTV MUSIC generation... RATT is “BACK FOR MORE” and will be performing shows from October- December 2015 and kicking off the North American leg of RATT's "RE-INVASION TOUR” in 2016.

After a five year battle over trademark issues… doing everything he could to appease and re-assemble the band, BOBBY BLOTZER, the CEO of WBS, Inc. has taken control of the RATT brand and is taking his multi-platinum RATT back on the road, bringing fans the songs they love and shows they've missed... continuing to build upon RATT's legendary legacy! RATT-N-ROLL FOREVER!

Current tour dates are scheduled with major swings through the Mid-West, Southeast, South, Northeast and Canada. Stay tuned for more cities and dates being added each day.

The newly reunited RATT — featuring singer Stephen Pearcy, bassist Juan Croucier and guitarist Warren DeMartini — has begun "writing and recording song roughs" for a new studio album, according to a post on Pearcy's Facebook page. In addition, the band — which also includes former QUIET RIOT guitarist Carlos Cavazo, who played on RATT's last studio album, 2010's "Infestation" — will embark on the "Back For More" tour in 2017, with the first confirmed date being the previously announced appearance at next year's edition of the M3 Rock Festival, set to take place on Friday, April 28, 2017 and Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland.

At the end of last month, DeMartini, Pearcy and Croucier issued a press release claiming that they had taken control of the band's name after a judge ruled against drummer Bobby Blotzer with respect to whether Croucier had committed trademark infringement by using the RATT name and logo to advertise his band RATT'S JUAN CROUCIER back in the fall 2015. The judge furthermore decided that the corporation WBS, Inc., of which Blotzer and DeMartini were thought to be the sole shareholders, and which Blotzer had claimed owns the RATT name and brand, did not have ownership interest in the RATT marks and that the name and brand was still owned by the members who were part of the original RATT partnership agreement: Pearcy, Croucier, DeMartini and Blotzer.

Under a 1985 written Ratt Partnership Agreement, the name/trademarks are the property of the partnership and can only be transferred with the unanimous approval of all partners. Thus, the judge ruled that in 1997 when Blotzer, DeMartini and Pearcy purported to transfer the trademarks to WBS, the transfer was invalid since Croucier, who was still a partner, was never advised of, and therefore did not consent to, the transfer. Therefore, the judge said, the partnership still owned the RATT name.

In addition to claiming to have expelled Blotzer from the partnership following the latest court ruling, Pearcy, DeMartini and Croucier said that Blotzer could now only refer to himself as a "former member of RATT," as per the partnership agreement.
