Cancellation: ORCHID
We unfortunately have to announce that ORCHID have canceled their show at SUMMER BREEZE 2014. A big apology to all those who were looking forward to this gig.
Their slot at the Nuclear Blast Label Night will be taken by BLUES PILLS, moving from the main bill to Warm-Up Wednesday.
The free slot left in the main bill will be filled soon. We are feverishly searching for a replacement!

Name change for the Party Stage

We have decided to change the name of the stage in the Party Tent from 'Party Stage' to 'T Stage' to honour the memory of Michael 'Mr. T' Trengert. This is meant as a tribute to a man without whom the SUMMER BREEZE festival would not exist as we know it today.
Not only as one of its two main organizers, but also as a friend, colleague and jack-of-all-trades, Michael Trengert decidedly shaped SUMMER BREEZE in the past years. As one of the metal scene's originators he worked hard for it behind the scenes, made changes possible, believed in bands that once were small and now are huge, and left a lasting impression on everyone who was lucky enough to meet him. He sadly passed away in September 2013 after a long battle. To honour the memory of this great human being, in the future the bands confirmed for the festival will also play the T Stage besides the Main Stage, the Pain Stage and the Camel Stage.
