Et donc Primal Fear et Sinner quittent le label Sinner a d'ailleurs trouvé refuge chez MTM, label pourtant spécialisé hard FM
German metallers PRIMAL FEAR have parted ways with Nuclear Blast Records, informed sources have told BLABBERMOUTH.NET. In addition, the band's bassist/songwriter Mat Sinner (real name: Matthias Lasch) — who was previously employed by Nuclear Blast as a label manager — is no longer working for the company, and hasn't been since January of 2006.
PRIMAL FEAR's latest album, "Seven Seals", entered the German national album chart at position No. 65 last October. The follow-up to 2004's "Devil's Ground" was produced by Sinner, along with Charlie Bauerfeind (BLIND GUARDIAN, HALFORD, HAMMERFALL), at the House of Music studio near Stuttgart, Germany, and was mixed at the Warehouse studio in Vancouver, British Columbia with Mike Fraser (AC/DC, METALLICA, COVERDALE/PAGE, SLIPKNOT, AEROSMITH, THE CULT).
As previously reported, Mat's other band, SINNER — who were also previously signed to Nuclear Blast — recently inked a new record deal with MTM Music. The band's current lineup — which includes Sinner, his FEAR bandmate Tom Naumann (guitars), Frank Rössler (keyboards), METALIUM's Matte Lange (guitars) and former PRIMAL FEAR drummer Klaus Sperling — will enter a studio near Stuttgart in September with producer Achim Köhler to record a new album, entitled "Mask Of Sanity", for a January 19, 2007 release.
The new SINNER lineup will make its live debut on October 7, 2006 at the H2O in Reichenbach, Germany. Also appearing on the bill will be PRIMAL FEAR, PUMP and TARGA.

Mat Sinner informs BW&BK that PRIMAL FEAR have inked a one-off deal with Nuclear Blast, for a best-of compilation that will also include "a
special bonus CD of classic metal tracks." An October release is
planned. Adds the bassist, Nuclear Blast and Primal Fear have to work
together to make this album a success and a worthy release, with special
packaging, photos, story etc."
The workaholic Sinner is putting the finishing touches on long overdue
album from GODDESS SHIVA (his first group, originally going under the
moniker Shiva), as well as writing and producing a new SINNER disc. "I
haven't been able to do anything with Sinner since Wacken 2003," he says
of the outfit where he doubles as lead singer. "Then I have to sort out
new recording deals for each band. Primal Fear will start writing and
pre-production in the autumn, with a brand new multi-album recording
deal."

Plus de détails sur le best of
PRIMAL FEAR basist Mat Sinner has sent the following statement to BLABBERMOUTH.NET:
"Aside of all other information on the net, PRIMAL FEAR have re-signed with Nuclear Blast Records, for a 16 track 'best-of' compilation 'Metal Is Forever' that will also include a special bonus CD of 'classic metal tracks.' A release for September 29th is planned by Nuclear Blast. JVC will release the 'best of' album in Asia/Japan. Nuclear Blast and PRIMAL FEAR will carry on their successful work to make this album a success and a worthy release, with special packaging, photos, story etc. — more information and a songlist with be follow soon!
"Mat is putting the finishing touches on long overdue album from GODDESS SHIVA (his first group, originally going under the moniker SHIVA). Mat Sinner, guitarist Armin Sabol and drummer Martin Schmidt have recorded 50% new material and 50% of their classic songs for this album release. The album was recorded by Armin Sabol and mastered by Achim Koehler. A release is planned for October 6th on MTM Music/SPV. In addition, Mat Sinner is writing and producing a new SINNER disc with recordings planned for September at Leon Studios, with engineer Achim Koehler. Mat comments: 'I haven't been able to do anything with SINNER since Wacken 2003 and now it’s the right time to bring this band back to life. We have a great new line-up and a bunch of great retro songs, that bring back the spirit and the memories of the late Eighties, combined with SINNER of the new century!' The new SINNER album, 'Mask Of Sanity', will be released on January 19th, 2007 on MTM Music.
"PRIMAL FEAR will start writing and pre-production in the autumn for the follow-up of their most respected album so far, 'Seven Seals'. Please check back later this week, when PRIMAL FEAR will announce their brand new multi-album recording deal and new partner for their future! Don't miss PRIMAL FEAR at the Monsters Of Rock Open Air in Zaragoza/Spain on June 18th!"

1. Black Sun (n'est-ce pas Agent-M )
2. Jaws of Death
