J'ai découvert ce groupe dernièrement sur le dernier sampler de Hard'N'Heavy... et ce groupe tue !
C'est un groupe ancré dans les 70's, fan de BLACK SABBATH, de led zeppelin ou autres KYUSS.
Normalement, je ne suis pas grand fan de ce genre de musique, mais je dois avouer que le morceau que j'ai entendu d'eux m'a vraiment plu.
Ya un gros Buzz autour de ce groupe dans la presse et en magasin en ce moment!j'en ai écouté quelques titres à gibert et c'est très efficace, la ressemblance de voix du chaneur avec Ozzy est bluffante!

ils ont cartonné en Australie, 3 x disque de platine chez eux... la maison de disque essaie de faire pareil en Europe... c'est pas mal comme groupe, mais je retiens pas grand chose de cette musique, j'ai pas écouté l'album depuis un mois et je me souviens même plus d'une seule compos...

Il y a un morceau sur le sampler de Rock Hard aussi et c'est vrai qu'on croirait entendre un mix de plusieurs morceaux de sabbath... les oh yeah à la sweet leaf et la basse ronflante y sont aussi pour beaucoup ... c'est agréable mais bon, faut voir sur la durée ...

Le groupe revient avec un album "surprise", sans promo et en écoute intégrale :
Australian rock band WOLFMOTHER will release its new album, "Victorious", on February 19 via Universal Music Enterprises. Fans around the world got a sneak preview of the album yesterday when WOLFMOTHER premiered two tracks — "Victorious" and "City Lights" — via Spotify. The songs can now be streamed below.
Fans can get "Victorious" and "City Lights" as instant downloads by pre-ordering "Victorious" on iTunes. The CD is also available for pre-order through Amazon.
WOLFMOTHER will support "Victorious" with a headline tour of North America set to kick off February 24 at First Avenue in Minneapolis. On November 30 at 10 a.m., fans that have signed up for WOLFMOTHER e-mail updates (at Wolfmother.com) will receive a special code to purchase tickets before they are available to the general public. On December 4, tickets go on sale to the general public.

Stockdale began working on the record this past January at his Byron Bay studio in New South Wales, writing on every instrument and embracing the same creative approach he used on the band's debut album a decade ago.
"Back in the early days, I'd play guitar, bass, and drums and then present the ideas to the band and we'd work on the arrangement together," he says. "I thought it would be cool to get back to demoing ideas by myself and playing everything. It's a good way to do things because it can make the style more cohesive."

J'ai écouté les morceau à la va-vite mais je ne suis pas emballée par la nouvelle tournure musicale plus "positive" qu'ils prennent...faudrait que j'écoute l'album pour me faire une idée
