J'aime bien connaître les goûts des uns et autres, et puis ca donne des idées d'achat (et ca permet d'éviter aussi les albums moins bon voir merdique), je connais ce groupe depuis peu mais j'aime beaucoup.
Pour l'instant j'ai Orchid, Morningrise et Blackwater park (mais qu'en version digital, j'attends de mieux connaître et d'avoir plus de finances...)

J'ai voté Damnation, parce que je le trouve un peu original par rapport aux autres albums, qui parfois tournent un peu en rond (hein Coco !
)

J'ai voté Still Life car (en dehors de Damnation a priori, que je ne connais pas) les suivants sont trop similaires et le groupe s'est contenté de reprendre les mêmes schemas depuis celui-la.

Blackwater park, parce que j'ai découvert le groupe avec ça et que je ne me suis pas remise du choc que ça m'a fait de découvrir ce groupe!

Ah ben pareil !
Et après j'ai écouté Still Life mais je préfère Blackwater Park. Le reste, connais pas.

Je vote pour
Deliverance, cet album représente pour moi le côté le plus heavy du groupe. Mention spéciale au title-track fleuve, à "Master's Apprentice" ainsi qu'à "By The Pain I See In Others".
J'aime bien aussi
Morningrise et ses nombreux passages acoustiques. Le
Blackwater Park est à juste titre considéré comme leur meilleur disque, maintenant c'est le plus sombre et désespéré dans les ambiances. Album hivernal au possible, la musique colle parfaitement avec la pochette.
J'aime finalement beaucoup
Still Life, bien heavy aussi celui-là ( "The Moor", "Godhead's Lament", "Serenity Painted Death" )

Ouais, pourquoi !.... L'idée de curé fan de métal me branche bien ! ça fait un pied de nez à ceux qui pensent encore que c'est la musique du diable !

L'album est de 1999, et la version que j'ai est déjà une réédition de 2003... ça sent le pognon facile cette affaire

Deliverance et Damnation vont être réédités dans un double album :
OPETH's "Deliverance & Damnation", a double album almost 15 years in the making, will be made available on October 30 via Music For Nations. Originally released separately in 2002 and 2003 respectively, these sessions were written and recorded together and it's time for Music For Nations to present the album as a complete piece.
Music For Nations will issue the double album in two beautifully reissued formats that includes new stereo and 5.1 mixes, with artwork redesigned by original designer Travis Smith; liner notes by Mikael Åkerfeldt and Jerry Ewing of Prog in a lavish four-disc bookset as well as triple vinyl on classic 180-gram black vinyl.
