Brazilian heavy metal band ANGRA will release its new album, "Aurora Consurgens", in Europe on October 30 via SPV Records. The complete track listing for the effort is as follows:
01. The Course Of Nature
02. The Voice Commanding You
03. Ego Painted Grey
04. Breaking Ties
05. Salvation: Suicide
06. Window To Nowhere
07. So Near So Far
08. Passing By
09. Scream Your Heart Out
10. Abandoned Fate
ANGRA spent the first part of 2006 resuming the touring for its last album, "Temple of Shadows". The tour began back in mid-2004 and the intense work paid off: ANGRA won several prizes in the annual readers' polls of Brazilian magazines. Rock Brigade, Comando Rock and Roadie Crew are the most important mags in the country and ANGRA won in several 2005 categories, both as a band ("Best Show" and "Best of all Time" in Comando Rock and "Best Show" in Rock Brigade) and as individual musicians (Kiko Loureiro was "Best Guitarist" and Aquiles Priester was "Best Drummer" in the opinion of Rock Brigade and Roadie Crew readers; Felipe Andreoli was "Best Bassist" in Roadie Crew).
The songwriting process for "Aurora Consurgens" started towards the end of the "Temple of Shadows" touring cycle. The band spent the early part of 2005 pre-producing the album with producer Dennis Ward at House Of Audio Studios in Germany. Drums recordings followed, also in Germany. Then, the band headed back to Brazil where all the remaining stuff was recorded. Mixing was also done in Germany.

Temple of Shadows
"In the temple of hate !"

Tout à fait d'accord avec toi
Quant à la pochette d'Aurora Consurgens
Et voici celle du single The Course Of Nature, dispo en septembre via http://www.angra.net, si j'ai bien compris (seulement pour le fan club?) :

Musically, the new album depicts a much heavier ANGRA. It doesn't mean the usual style of the band is lost, though. In fact, all tunes still rely on the influence of Brazilian music and there's a lot of percussion in the arrangements, several orchestral parts, etc. The songwriting process saw the participation of all members, so the album is quite diversified. At the same time, it maintains all the main characteristics of the band.

http://www.hardrock80.com/groupes/ANGRA ... urgens.htm
