The new album „At Foreign Shores – Live In Japan“ is a document for STORMWARRIORs first raid in the land of the rising sun. Together with German metal institution Gamma Ray (feat. Kai Hansen, ex-Helloween), the act from Hamburg, Germany, did a successful tour throughout Japan in December 2005 with concerts in Osaka and Nagoya, as well as two completely sold-out shows at the legendary Shibuya O-East in the capital city of Tokyo.
All shows were immediately recorded for a possible release of a live CD, and mixed by Lars Ramcke (vocals) and Falko Reshöft (Drums) at Thunderhall Studios, Hamburg, soon after the band’s return to Germany. The disc was mastered by no one else but Dirk Schlächter (Gamma Ray) and Arne Lakenmacher (High Gain Studio Hamburg), who provided the album with a clear and powerful sound without missing the rawness and sincerity of a live recording.
